She bows, "Yes, Countess." And goes right away. Eager to make her mark.

Jessica sighs and bounces Shuri. "What do you think?"

Could be imagination, but for a moment it looks like Shuri's fingers are in a thumb's up position

"Yeah. Ok, let's find one of your parents." And given Necropsis is out and about, that means Tweak. She gets back up for this outing.

Jessica notes that a lot of folks smile at Shuri, and seem to think higher of her with a kid nearby? is this why politicians kiss babies?

They certainly shouldn't be, but Shuri is a charmer, having all the charisma her father lacks and her mother needs to work on

With Demos already heading out with Dame Dil... there is a thin number of back up available to patrol with at this time.

WHich is when Lady Ash shows up, "One of the staff told me you wanted back up?"

Jessica nods. "Taking Shuri here back to her mom, and I want cover. Can you come?"

"Of course," The beaumayn looks down, "Hello, Shuri" and offers her hand "Nice to meet you."

The little girl looks up, then, with her free hand, shakes Ash's extended hand and goes "DEAL"

"Okay, wasn't expecting that response." The Beaumayn admits

"Her father is a pooka and her mother is a nocker."

"Oh my...well, that might explain a lot. Where do her mother and father live?"

Ash walks with her as she asks

Jessica names the Barony and Freehold, which her player cant remember.

"Albedo Barony." Mmm "Yes, well, let's go there." The three make their way, and it soon goes uptown. Jessica actually looks a bit lower class by the time they get into the business district here. Ash might too, but she's a sidhe - they cheat

Jessica nods to any guards on duty as they approach.

She notices a Gwydion lady-Her hair has red tints more cherry wood in hue, armed and armored and on duty, she inclines her head, and says "Your excellency?" In a low voice, "Please forgive the lack of formalty, but there are some unenchanted mortals in parts of the building. I'm Dame Donelle ap Gwydion. Currently still with this hold."

And indeed, as they enter the hold, there's a mortal receptionist at the desk

She nods. "Jessica King."

The mortal is dressed well, professionally to fae eyes, but the receptionist has voile she's not aware of... high boots, a pink rabbit fur stole

The sidhe says "Miss King is with me, Miss Thomlin" to the receptionist and leads her on

Jessica follows.

They soon get to an unechanted free area, the whole place is shifting, more steel and stars, echoes of count downs.

"Sorry about that," Dame Donelle says "We can talk now"

"Don't apologize for following the Escheat, Dame. And thank you."

"My pleasure." She says "You're here for Mama Capataz?"

"Is that Tweak?" Dubiously.

"Yes, I asked her what title she wished to go by, that's what she told me," Dame Donelle says

Lady Ash looks amused, "Must be quite the change for you, Dame."

Then she adds, "Please, call me Dame Ash by the way"

The Gwydion takes a deep breath and says "it's been, interesting."

"Welcome to my world." Dryly. "You've met Shuri?"

She hefts the toddler gently.

"Yes, would you like me to take her?" The Falcon offers

"No, I have it. But yes, we're here to bring her home."

"I'm not sure where her mother is at this time, but her father is out." Dame Donnelle says

"I know." Dry.

Shuri, now within reach of the Gwydion, pokes her freckles

Donnelle endures it with dignity.

"Shuri, poking is rude." Gently.

"Dots" Shuri explains

"Yes," The freckled Gwydion says, "Freckles."

"Pretty dots. Don't hurt the dots." Jessica suggests.
