Jessica nods wearily.

"Are there others who might be able to provide information or insihgt? Father V or Sir Jack, Maria?

"I have Chronous but not Soothsay... but I think Father V is a fair hand with the Soothsay IF we can pry him away from the refugees"

"Can we get a couple people out there to spell him for a bit?"

"Well, if we send at least two to cover for him he might come in. Phobos and Buce?"

"For Father V?

Nonplussed. Those aren't the people that leap to mind when she thinks 'Father V alternates.'

"Sorry, I guess I was thinking PROTECTING the Flock...Guiding? Not so much mm who do you suggest?"

"Well. No, I guess from that point of view, it works. Yes, ok. Send them. There's a war on, after all."

"I guess I'm more jumpy about the shooting than Ithought" Mitra admits to explain her own leap to security minded.

It takes time, but not too long later, Father V approaches in... "Everything all right, young lady?"

"No, Father." She fills him in.

".... so I'm wondering if you have any information that might help with this possible incursion from the Harp and Rose."

"As you well know, Liam and Leanhaun are opposed in everyway. The Leanhauan think in terms of dreamers... it is possible that if they want to hinder you, they will attack the dreamers in your fief ..by attack i mean burn them out or steal them or both"

"Do we need to move the refugee Dreamers out sooner?"

"Either that, or we focus a part of our security on them... increase it and so forth?"

Jess rubs the base of her horns. "Maybe both. Start moving them faster -and- increase security?"

"A mix works... " Mitra says "Also... remember that visit to the DeBukes?'

"Yes?"

"you should definitely go." Mitra says, "That hold is incredibly warded..."

"I'll go, I'll go..... wait, do I need to be heavily warded?"

"Not sure, but if you do need it, it will frustrate the hell out of whoever.. and that amuses me" The sidhe admits

An eyeroll.

"I have to have some fun vicariously in the game of two cats and mouse"

"Two cats?" Father V says

"Eiluned know better.. there's no game of cat and mouse... there's usually two cats... the one that wears the mouse down... and the one that swoops in and gets the exhausted rodent after the other has done the work" Mitra says

"And you wonder why folks don't trust your house" Father V sighs, then looks to Jessica, "Would you like me to cast soothsay ?"

"I think we should have as much information as possible, Father." Seriously. "My folks say there's issue, and it might effect us too."

The Father nods, "Stand near the fire please"

She does.

One hand automatically reaches in greeting to the Flames.

Latin flows like a stream

as the Arch Angel Gabriel , the messenger, is asked for intervention in a bunk

and then... Father V steps back in surprise

She blinks.

"WELL?" The Eiluned says a bit exasperated

"I saw our Chapelleh get stabbed by a sword ... then she drew it out of herself and put it into a balefire, and with her maul hammered it... and it came out as wood... like something taken off a tree."

Jessica's expression, already sober, goes grim.

"Lovely... it wouldn't have been an Olive Branch would it?" Mitra looks worried "She's going to die because she wants peace?"

"She didn't die in what I saw" the Boggan says

"Well thank god for small favors" She says

"I do that quite often" The priest says
