She raises an eyebrow. Again. "You would use sovereign on childlings? Mind, some are noble."

"Court Soveriegn is good for Courts, but as a Governess my 'tittle' would overide any childling if need be." She says "But I do not need it safe for most difficult sorts and even then, I do not default."

"You say you are a teacher - what would you say is your best subject?"

"Math. So logical, so reasonable."

"Very disicplined"

"Oh very" The Beaumayn says

A flick of her wings. "Well. I invite you to stay for the holiday - please, take the time to meet the children and see what you think."

"Very good," She rises and looks tothe door, which iso pened for her and she withdraws.// Inish says "One more and wee're done."

"Yes, one more please."

She looks at Jennette and Leo, eyes WIDE as she silently mouths 'wow.'

Leonora says "I know I'm not supposed to be afraid, but she makes me nervous. I mean, geez."

"Got ears like a hawk too"

"I think... well, I think she is likely very good at what she does." Diplomatic.

"She might be very useful for some childlings," Jennette is even kinder, then adds, "But I fear Catir might swear a blood oath of vengence within a year"

A laugh. "She might! Though she might be the one to stand up to her..."

The last to come in is also a woman, tall, blue, a troll. A grump, but a younger one. 30tish

She moves in with a slight limp,

Sparrow sits forward, wings flitting against her back. The oak brooch is visible at her breast. "Hello."

"this is Ludmila" He says

"Pleasure," She notices the symbol, a kniting of her brow, but that's brief. "I'm here about the warder position. What would you like to know?"

"A bit about you. I am chancellor here - Baroness Derynwydd ap Liam. My soul-mother Coradel reigns."

"They told me Liam and Fiona were the houses most in charge here." She says "I'm a commoner myself. I had Hearth upbringing, and training...not sure if you know what that means"

She nods. "My mentor was a Mountain. And Liam."

"What brings you here, and not to a lodge?"

A lift of her head, "My choice is somewhat, personal."

She nods. "It is just a very different place from a lodge. And - as you said, there are Liam here."

"It is. But the fact your mentor was a mountain means my skills are not incompatible with a noble hold I hope?"

"I know how competent a good hearth may be, but we are not seeking a steward."

"Hearths also are often in charge of the childlings, food for them and cleaning after them is only a part. In my old lodge, the hearths cared for the young 70 percent of the time." She says, "I have tended child fevers, and read stories. The kids tend to love How to Tame your Dragon books and the like."

She nods. "Childlings need more than food and cleaning. Have you ever mentored?"

"Yes." She says in that trollish way

"But you seek a noble hold now."

"Why? Why here?"

"I no longer feel comfortable around lodges."

Simply stated

A raised brow from Jennette

"We have trolls here. Thanes, mostly. Olgi seems likely to be going to a lodge when she is recovered."

"I'm sure it will serve her well" Without complaint "May I ask which lodge?"

"Friends of Earth Runes. I am unsure if I have leave to share the name..."

"I understand, a trust is a trust. Regardless, I can teach and care for non trolls as well. " She offers, "I've worked a mortal day care"

"Many of our childlings are... hm.. mid range? 9, 10..."

She nods

"Some have been badly hurt. They may act out, be defiant, be sensitive."

"Then they need gentleness and understanding. i believe I can provide it. It's...not easy for anyone who has faced a loss. Even for adults. For childlings, they're even less prepared."

She nods. "Some are also very strong headed."

"I did mention I have dealt with trolls" a bit wryly

Leonora smirks at that

A laugh. "True enough. You understand, you are not the only candidate."

"I didn't expect to be. I do have a physical advantage if they should need defending from an outside force. My knee is bad, but the rest of me is fine."

"I would like to give you time to meet the children. And, of course, the reverse."
