So the two chat about the previous year's classes and this year's expectations (at least in the mortal context) as Sylvi intersperses guidelines and instruction while she applies color and contour.

The end effect is still subtle, but more polished.

"Oh, wow..."

Sylvi smiles. "You like?"

She nods.

"Okay, so that takes more time and more practice, but you could learn to do it."

"Maybe for, like, special occasions..."

"Oh...can I show you what I'd do for really special occasions? For, like, if you were going to the Academy Awards or something?"

"Would it be good for the video?"

Sylvi nods. "It would. And then at the end I'd show side-by-side photos of no-makeup, minimal-makeup, moderate-makeup, and OMG-makeup."

"Well, then okay!"

"Cool! Okay, everybody...we're goin' in!" Sylvi laughs happily, and starts plying even more tools of the trade...shades and creams and brushes and powders....

"Yeah, when I go on TV after my gold medal... boom, Sylvi Davidson, Stylist to the Stars."

She laughs. "I swear, I better get a shout-out! Hey, you wanna be my celebrity endorsement?"

More chatter, and then.... "Okay, so for the ultimate glamour night....Boom!" She turns Sam to face the camera.

"Totally. Gotta figure out if it is gonna be track or basketball.."

Blink... blink...

"Wow, I look like a whole other person."

"Well, yeah...but do you like it?"

She turns her face from side to side, inspecting her reflection. "Just.. wow."

A nod!

"Maybe you'll let me make you up like that for prom."

BLUSH.

"So, okay, everybody....there you have it! Sam's gone from clean face to minimal effort, to moderate makeup, to glam-wow! Hey, hit us up on the comments -- but be nice, people!!! (a finger wag) -- give Sam a shout-out for how nice she looks, and let me know what you want to see next as far as make up and style go. And don't forget to hit that link to Subscribe! A wave!

Sylvi clicks off the video record software, then beams at Dagmar. "That was great! I'm going to edit it up like crazy to cut out a lot of chatter, but you were the bomb!"

Then a smile. "Hey, let's go downstairs and give your folks a collective stroke when they see you."

"Thanks..."

"Oh, man, Dad'll have a cat... okay."

"Cool! Tempted to film this, but that would be mean. Let's go." And they head downstairs for the shock reveal.

Meanwhile, Adam goes to work, and good around the rest of the day.......

Downstairs... Jaymes takes a slow drink. Tove chats merrily about her plans for a new video...

"Ahem! Your attention, please?" Sylvi announces from the stairs.

Tove looks up" Of course, what is it Sylvi?"

Jaymes looks up and hmms.

"Well, a certain somebody has just helped me a great deal with a makeup video, and I'd like to show you some of the results. May I present....Sam King, the Glam-Queen!"

They strain to see

She pauses...then looks up the stairs. "Sam? C'mon!"

"Okay..."

Sam comes down - dark jeans, yes. And one of her "layering" shirts the curves close to her bust and waist, Tove's Mjolnir pendant pointing AT said bust...

And her face... contoured, highlighted, bronzed and blushed with striking eyes and colored lips...

Tove beams, touched that her gift has been incorporated and of course proud of how their daughter shines.

Sylvi whispers, "Shoulders back, don't hunch..."

"Oh, right..." Shoulders back!

Jaymes puts his cup to his mouth he can release the liquid without it being noticed the same way as oh...spitting it across the room might, then coughs (How..what? Where'd she get..what is going on?)

"Sylvi does fancy stuff, huh?"

Sylvi explains, "This would be a high-glamour look, like for prom or something. But we also did some lighter looks. You'll see it all when I edit the video and post it."

"Oh Sam, you look marvelous... your skin is glowing"
