"Gimmie a second." She grabs one of the short-sleeved shirts and disappears to the closet to change.

"Yeah. From before."

"Sure."

She emerges quickly enough, first shirt balled up in her hands. Sylvi's seen the scars before - on Dagmar's satyr form. In her mein, they are a lighter blue, laid out in parallel stripes. One or two are raised, ones that didn't heal as well. Her right forearm has a small circular scar, about a centimeter in diameter.

(How high up are the parallel lines?)

Most are above her elbow... but moving her arm in a short sleeve will like expose them.

"Hm." Sylvi takes a look, then says, "Here, flap your arms a bit, like this...." She demonstrates, smiling and looking like an absurd albatross for a moment.

A blink, but she complies.

A little laugh, "Okay, stop!" She stops, too, then looks at how much is exposed by the activity, and how much the scars darken with brief activity.

Well, Dagmar is blushing. That doesn't help.

She tugs on her sleeves. "See? Too much."

"Well...okay, yeah, they show." She tilts her head, contemplating them. "I wonder if my Mom could heal those. Or the Chieftain. I mean, they're not fresh, but maybe..."

Her hands clench and she shakes her head.

"I have some plaid button downs, too?"

"Like, retro."

Sylvi blinks. "Um...sure, yeah. You could probably do a sheer-sleeve top, too, but that's a shopping trip." She goes to look in the closet.

She follows. Most of Sam's wardrobe is distinctly tomboyish - half of it is literally from the guy's section.

"Which ones do you wear under t-shirts, normally?"

"These go under...." Mostly plain, and mostly baggy. A few are more slender in cut.

Sylvi takes one of the slender ones that's of a lightweight fabric and holds it up in front of Sam. "You ever wear this on its own?"

Blink. Head-shake.

"It's kind of.. clingy..."

"You mean, it shows that you have a shape? Dagmar...you're a high school sophomore. You're allowed to have a shape." She holds out the top. "Try it on, okay? Please?"

She bites on her lower lip and takes the shirt. "You'll see."

"Yup." Smiling.

She ducks away to change - indeed, Dagmar has a shape. Toned arms, athletic... and yes, a bust. She pulls at the fabric - it isn't really tight, it just isn't a tent.

"See? Clingy."

"No, here..." Sylvi brings her to stand in front of her mirror. "Okay, so this..." she pulls the back of the shirt so it's really, really tight against her. "...this would be clingy, and that would suck. But this?" She releases the shirt so it relaxes over her form again. "This is nice!"

"Uh..."

"I don't know. " She tugs at the hem.

"Seriously. You look good. Okay, mirrors suck, but you really do." Gwydion sense says she's not lying.

"Is it okay to wear just this by itself, though?"

"You could, sure! I mean, with the right jeans, and a bit of jewelry? Totally a look. And you've got the build to pull it off. It's not like you've got a waist you're trying to hide or something."

"I don't really have jewelry..."

"Could do a scarf...?"

She wrinkles her nose.

"They seem annoying. Like, fluttery?"

"Yeah, okay. Fussy. So...do you have a necklace?"

"Um."

"Wait! Tove got me one, I think..."

She checks her nightstand.

She pulls out a chain with a bronze hammer pendant. "See? She was at a gig..."

"Ooooh...put that on, right the heck now."

"It's pretty cool, right?" She complies, the hammer settling in the sweet-spot between her throat and her chest.

"O.M.G. Look at that." She points Sam at the mirror. "Boom!"

She fiddles with it. "You think?"

"Absolutely! Look...put your hands down...see, you've got the really simple, one-color top, but it shows off the right amount of curve, and then you interrupt it with a simple chain and pendant that's got a strong geometric shape! Plus, the hammer rests at just the right spot, not too high, not too low. This is it. You've got dark jeans to go with it? Fresh-looking shoes?"

"Dark jeans.. yeah... um.. converse?"

"How scuffed are they?"

"I guess you know fashion..." She looks at her reflection, uncertain but not unhappy. "New. Just got them last week."
