"Well, we're an unseelie hold..."

"Not snots like Bergen."

"Oh, the RV crew is okay. Heck, they got a redcap there who ...well, as Briar about Dirk. He's mean tempered, brutal, and a bit simple, but he's not a snot." She says "But a few in the county in other areas give us the evil eye yeah. Look, some folks are kind of on the cusp. That's okay too. " A smile "I think the baron and baroness would be pleased you're proud of Silverwolf"

"I don't know the RV folks, but the ones at Falken..." She shrugs.

"We got nothing to prove. Best horses, best dogs, best bird of prey, tough ass warriors, best cook, and some pretty skillful crafters"

Snort.

A smile "I MIGHT be biased"

"Just a little."

"Have you seen how fast the new pups are growing? " She sighs happily "12 weeks we should see them get their own personnalities. That's the best part, whennn they look up at you and say 'this is who I am'"

"Yeah?"

"They're not just wiggly potatoes?"

"Oh no... come on. I'll show you"

"Sure." She does pause to give Muppet an ear-scritch

Muppet leans at it so hard that if she stops he may fall over

"Grrrrrrroooof." Mischka gives a half grown, half bark hello. Her tail wags once at Gwen, but she's still somewhat on alert. It's a sunny afternoon, and the Baron is kneeling outside the den, carefully examining the pups that are sprawling about on the patchy winter grass.

"Hush, Mother wolf." He says to her, fondly. "They will not remain out long. Even this young, their coats are thick and warm."

He looks up, and smiles at Gwen and Thistle. "Have you come to see Michka's pups? They are growing quickly."

"They are.. Mischka getting tired of those tiny fangs coming in?"

A HUFF from Momma dog. Gwen knows that the pups have been starting weaning onto meat mash for a couple weeks now, but still suckle for a bit of nutrition but also comfort.

Aiden chuckles a bit. "She says so."

Gwenn moves to pet Mischka gently "Oh you know you're proud of how strong they are"

"Have the Baroness or Rivervale or Freeholder from the DeBuke clan made conversation yet on coming to view the pups? They will not be ready to go until mid-February, but they are stronger every day."

Thistle has crouched to collect some dirt in her hands.

"I think the Chieftain and Baroness will becoming together"

She grinds some between her thumb and fingers, checking the texture.

"Thistle, is something amiss?"

A startle response and a soft expletive of surprise. "Miercoles!"

"Oh, sorry. I was... figuring... something."

And she puts a handful of dirt into her pocket.

Noticing her on the ground, one pup starts towards her, and several others follow...

Blink. Blink. "Uh... hi, puppies."

"AWWW... look at their little faces"

A cautious hand out, calloused palm up.

"Yirp." The pup with a blaze on it's face says

Wobbly potatoes!

Gwen socializes with the others while Thistle gets sniffed by another "Oh yes, such fine girls and boys" Testing muscle tone and alertness

"They're still kinda potato-y."

Aiden smiles at Gwen. "They are old enough to be weighed and soft collared, so we can monitor their growth. Try not to give them names, if you can. They must be able to be named and respond properly to their new owners.

He explains to Thistle, "They will have names in our Silverwolf breeding registry, but very often, the new homes prefer a common name. Not unlike Fae, in a way."

"Yes." She fights ttemptation

A potato climbs into Thistle lap, disturbing a Never that was in her pocket! It flashes and chimes, shaking a tiny glowing fist at the pup.

"Rrrrrriff! Ryaff!" Squeaky bark back!

"Hey, hey...."

A grinn "This one's hide looks like a powder donut" A pause "Which is NOT a name"

She shields the angry Never!

Aiden chuckles. "Brave little warrior, that."
