The Baron is on hand to meet her - his Baroness with him?

She is, Nadeen's own dog, Pyschka, with her. "Chieftains, welcome to Silver Wolf"

Brekke nods her head respectfully. "Baron Aiden, Baroness Nadeen. Thank you. You are both well?"

Clem gives a troll salute. "Nice to be here"

Nocker workshop don't care about guests! Never mind the lavender-scented (and colored) smoke.

Oak wags but remains on guard at the same time

"Thank you for inviting us to see the pups. We...." She pauses and sniffs the air. "Something is burning?"

The Baron nods respectfully back, the proper greeting from Baron to Baroness. "Greetings, Baroness. I trust you are well. Freeholder Clementine DeBuke, it is good to finally make your acquaintance."

He does not inquire after either's Yule. Perhaps specifically so, to not bring up the now wide-spread rumours and chatter about the assassination attempt.

Thane Linnea is present as well, standing further back, over on Nadeen's side. SHE bows to both Chieftains equally, fist on her heart.

Linnea speaks up.

"We have a Fledgeling Nocker." Explanation enough?

CLem returns the gesture to the thane

Brekke also gives Linnea a troll salute, and then nods. "Ah." Yes, this explanation seems to be enough.

Clem nods "Got a cousin who's a nocker" Half resigned, all undersanndinng

Nadeen smiles "how is Rivervale? Thriving? I Hope?"

Clem says to the Baron "I had the pleasure of meeting Dolph. Good ma. Did yourr hold proud"

Brekke nods to Nadeen. "Rivervale is well. You are often thought of. We have a new chrysalid, as well."

"Joyous news" Nadeen says "Another troll?"

Pyscka and Oak snniff each other, but politely

Aiden remarks, "Our Nocker, Thistle, is working on a new alarm system. One can never be too secure when thallain are about. Needless to say, our kennels are safe, and the pups protected." He gestures for them to follow.

Not to the kennels this time, but to one of the paddocks, which has been set up for guests. An awning erected, heater provided, and a table with a lunch spread, including coffee.

"No, a new sidhe." An interested look at the co,mment about Thallain. She has not mentioned the recent thallain or prodigal issues, and does not intend to, either.

Within the paddock in a smaller pen just tall enough to prevent pups from wandering, a truly magnificent dog lounges - practically a small bear - Brekke has seen Mischka before, but this is Clem's first view of the Ovcharka dam. the pups gambol around her.

"Ah, this is good," she refers to the setup. Then a grin at the mother and pups. "Very good. They look very healthy. May Oak visit with them?

The pups are lighter in color than the Bear dogs, but mottled, not the pure white of Oak. Mischka sniffs the air and stands when they approach, greeting them with a deep bark. She lifts the corner of her lip and trots over to sniff noses with Oak, wary at first.

"He may, if Mischka does not object." Aiden says, watching the meeting.

Brekke also watches, extending a hand for Mischka to sniff in her turn.

Oak approaches, his nnose twitching

She sniffs them thoroughly... then, a single tail wag towards Oak, and she steps back, standing behind the pups. Her head is held high, proudly. Look what I have done. I suppose you helped.

Oak looks at Mischka , a slow almost shy wag, then he lowerrs his nose to one of the puppies

"Thank you, Mischka. Your puppies are lovely." She gestures Clem to precede her.

He's almost mesmerrized

Clem offers herr hannnd to be sniffed, and looks over the puppies after "Oh, too soon to really judge hem fair, but they look beautiful... that one onne maybe the biggest of the lot if growing into those paws."

Oak is hereby invited in to sniff and examine the pups - and his accompanying trolls as well.

"Steward Marigold has provided a light repast." Light - well, for trolls or redcaps, maybe, yes. Sandwiches, pastries, coffee and tea, cool water with lemon or cucumber slices, canapes, petit fours...

Brekke nods. She asks Aiden, "Do you expect them to be larger than their mother?"

"It is yet to be seen. However, I expect from my experience in similar breeds, that they will be smaller, closer to Oak's size, but compact, muscular. Lighter coat, though dense."

Oak noses the pups, he's gentle with them. One daughter, however, sinks new needle sharp teetth in his ear. With GREAT Patience, he sighs and lifts to discourage her holding on

She lifts into the air! The young huntress has her prey and will not let go even as she dangles, tiny growls bubbling in her throat!

"Ooh dear" Nadeen says.

"rrrrRrrrr!" She squeaks!

Oak sighs. Seeming rather Frank like in his tolerence

Brekke nods to Aiden and moves closer, crouching to get a hand under the fierce little girl before she drops.

Clem tries not to snicker

Surprised by the sudden support from below, she releases the ear! Tail wags, and she turns to give a test nibble at the hand. Curious this one.

One of the boys seems to be strategically sniffing at his dad's tail , working the angles while he's distracted

"Per our contract, the first pick of the litter is to the DeBuke's, and third to Rivervale. Though, if none appeal, or if it is either Chieftain's preference, Silverwolf will buy back that right." Giving an out if they do not wish to take any pups.

"Their full persoalities won't be showig until they're 12 weeks old" Gwenn speaks up "But a few show earlier. Maybe the fae part of fae hound"
