Gwen watches the Centaur go "he's like a troll big Centaur"

"Think Blossom'll wind up that big?"

"I don't think so. I know it's wrong to compare them to horses but I can't help it. D'lavender can tell better than I, but he's more like a big old Chargerr, she's more like a quicker racing breed"

"Right. Horses."

The Baron brushes at his jacket, it doesn't help. "I'll let the Baroness know we have company." And clean up, most like.

And, he heads off.

Trusting, clearly, that Gwen will see to the pups.

"Oh yeah, don't get her started onn horses. She's obssessed" A beat "I wonder if Buck could find a fae hound of a Sporting group"

"...I have no idea which dogs those are."

"Oh, sitters, retrievers, pointers, springers and some more."

"Oh..."

"Hunting dogs?"

"Yup. Gun Dogs or Bird dogs. Oh.. Standard poodles included"

"I saw the funniest thing online - poodle art grooming contest..."

"Yeah?" Curious

"Sure - like, wild colors and shapes. Floral poodles, paisley ones, robots..."

"Might be funny, but not real dogs? Just drawings?"

"Oh no, real dogs. Dyed, cut, shaved..."

"Not sure how I feel about that. Dogs aren't ornaments" SHe says "But I guess it does take creativity."

"I mean, hair is just hair..." She pats her own neon blue coif.

"First, YOU have spectacular hair, not just hair. I thought so first time I saw you even before" A smile "Second, if it impedes tthe dog, it needs ttendinng to"

"Well, yeah. But you can probably just buzz the dogs after the contest."

"Mmm fair. I..." She helps with the puppies caring for them annd mishka

If shown the pictures of the Poodles, she laughs "Okay. You win. THatt IS fun"

A grin. "See? It's cool." She puts her phoen away.

"I'm gonna go work on the spriggan-sniffer..."

"Okay. Lett me know I can help"

"You did!"

A smile. Seems Gwen doesn't feel worthless as long as she's of service

And she goes back to handling the kennels

Later - it seems the Never Palace cannot compete in appeal to the little workshop off the kitchen. Their multi-colored lights resemble nothing so much as Christmas.
