Jonas blushes purple

Snort, giggle.
"Thank you, Dagmar..."

((Kitchen)) She winces and shakes her head. "Of course." She goes to a cabinet and gets a carafe of gourmet olive oil, takes a bit and rubs it together between her palms. "Open your shirt."

Purple! An ambivalent grunt, and she heads back to return the tin.

(KITCHEN ) He lifts it... and there is the wound. Oh not as bad as it could be, but two more inches and her husband would have lost a kidney and likely died. "Rover Wife life everything you thoughti t could be, babe?" Olgar chuckles "I know I know, not funny"

Jonas says "Piper, Siv, I understand I've been gone overly long, but I'm back. It's okay. All is as it was"

She looks up at Jonas, and... oh, here comes the tears.

That said, Jonas looks at each of them with delight despite his chewing out... then the tears flow from Piper "Uhm.. Piper?"

Siv is a troll, not as emotional, but her own eyes threaten wetness "Jonas, we have ... something HAS changed, something amazing and strange"

((Kitchen)) "Well, I'm used to it, at least." More or less. Her easy tone hides her concern, and he can feel her very gently tracing some patterns around the edges of the wound, the oil tingling where her fingers have passed.

MORE purple as she walks in on Kerri tracing oil over the Rover's bare chest. SHe sets the tin down on a counter and turns heel, hopefully before they notice the intrusion.

"Can... can we go inside, please? Somewhere private?" She sniffles. Maybe wanting a door between Jonas and escape before she breaks the news.

There's a sound down the hall from the main room, like knocking, and then footsteps. "Um. Hello?" Jessica peers in.

And Jessica might see Dagmar first

"Dagmar, it's all right," Kerri assures her, but possibly not in time to delay her retreat.

A frown at Jessica - some greeting!

"Good work as always" Olgar admires the work with his fingers "Hardly a mark"

"I'm not sure where Chief or Frank are."

"Your sister is... busy..."

"I hope you feel good on the inside, not just pretty on the outside," Kerri says with a wink as she cleans her hands.

"Heh" Olgar chuckles "A shower might be due, but otherwise.." He notices the dogs happy "We got a guest I think?"

"Oh, Hi Dagmar." The older, tanned troll is carrying a large basket "The ladies wouldn't let me leave without this. I'll take it to the kitchen." And she goes to do so.

"Seems like everybody's arriving," Kerri says with a grin. "I'll have to fill you in on the latest a bit later."

Okay, good, chaos managed. There's still tables to set up for tomorrow.

"Jessica!" Kerri's smile greets her in the kitchen. Well, that and a half-naked Olgar.

"Hi, Kerri." she puts the basket down and gives Kerri a hug. "Hi, Olgar. You ok?"

"Better now..." Olgar says "Hey, Jessica. You're here a bit early but glad of it"

Kerri returns the hug and then indicates the basket. "You bring tribute, I see?" A grin and a wink.

"I'm gonna shower" Olgar says "By Popular demand no doubt."

"The ladies wouldn't let me leave without it." she grins back.

Kerri gives Olgar a brief kiss. "See you in a bit."

Olgar returns it, then heads out. He does peek out the window, a concerned look for Dagmar, but then he goes to shower

Then she starts sorting through the contents of the basket. "Of course, they're going to get a basket-full in return. Oooooh...." she seems pleased with what she's unpacking.

"How're things at Fenix?" she asks.

"Oh, and I forgot to ask, would you like something to eat or drink?"

"They made me eat before I left. But a drink would be nice." she takes a seat "Good. Mostly good."

Kerri gets her a glass of a known favorite. "Mostly? Come on, share a tale."

"Um. Well, we're kind of in the middle of a war and I have... I guess prisoners of war in my cells and I want to release them back to their people but I can't risk they'll attack -my- people again so I'm kind of stuck with them for now."

"Some are willing to take an Oath; those I can set free. But the others.... they're really hostile."

A frown. "This is the same war? The Nunnehi?"

"Um.... kinda? I mean, yes, Nunnehi but not our local ones; these hostiles are now mainland Nunnehi against some .... most? Of our local ones. And us. And the local Mer."

"But we're not allied with the Mer so that's a whole separate thing."

"Oh, good grief. You're really stuck in the middle of a mess, aren't you?"

"Well, I guess I got myself there. With trying to bring peace and all."

"It's a worthy goal." She's finished putting away items from the basket, except for a platter of treats that she sets out on the table. "But a difficult one."

"Peace isn't the end-goal for everybody."

"Yeah, I'm seeing that now." she sighs.

Olgar comes back down , new clothes , cleaned up but he stops to look out the window at Dagmar

"But, I guess, it's what my goal is. Maybe not an -end- goal, but a goal."
