"Enough, Dagmar. Enough."

"Jordan...come and eat."

Jordan has the decency to blush, though if it's Dagmar's Liar comment or the reminder he was saved ,or both, hard to say

"But hey, if you want to give u-..." She stops and frowns. "Yes, Chief."

Gerd mutters "I thinnk we got an unseelie"

"Burgers...." Frank stands and goes to get one. "Jordan? You like condiments?"

Brekke catches Frank's look, and after a moment, she nods.

Brekke starts to prepare a plate for herself.

Jordan says "I can get my own."

Frank sighs, and fixes a plate.

Brekke looks to Jordan and nods. "There is plenty." She finishes fixing her plate, and steps aside.

He fixes his own plate, clearly hungry.

The Mountain chuckles. "Jordan, look at us. We're used to big meals." with a beard curve.

"Well, it.. it smells good"

He admits

"Yes, well prepared, Gerd."

Gerd lifts a brow "You're welcome." She notices he did not thank anyone, then she smiles a bit more at the Chief "I learned from the best."

Dagmar takes a burger and onion rings.

"I taugght her what not to do" Tiffany says proudly. TThough thanks to Kerri, she is not quite a disaster in the kitchen

"Mm." A nod, and she settles in her seat by the balefire. "Jordan, please. be comfortable." She does not say take a seat. "You met us during crisis. Now that the worst is passed...for now...let us speak further."

"Drink?" Frank asks from a beverage station.

Jordan has a burger and a mix of fries and onion rings. "Look the Moutai" He munches "Says I can go.. but Sir Vali acted like I had to have a keeper... so I'm still not sure but ... I didn't ask for this. " Petulannt

"No. You did not. And it is confusing for all of us at first." She takes a bite and considers for a few moments as she chews and swallows.

"Jordan, Sir Vali has told you the basics, I understand this. What I hope you can understand is that, if you learn how to walk in this world, you will likely find great value in the experience. It is what you are."

"But those who do not receive guidance...who refuse to learn...they can go mad. Or worse. We do not wish that for you."

"Wait, I get zapped into a circus freak, and you're tellinnng me I can go crazy?" A suspicious look "How do I knonw you gguys aren't lying just to hook me up with this fae cult thing?"

Frank nods.

"What does your heart tell you?"

"That is a good question. But you have seen what you have seen. And you were rescued from your captors."

"I.." A scowl, then "Maybe there's something in it for you, maybe there's not, but what's in it for ME besides 'oo I get to be a happy horse boy'?"

Gerd is now glaring along with dagmar

Frank looks again at Brekke, then to Jordan, and nods. "Maybe there is; what do you want?"

A brow. "Hm." Another bite, another pause. "For me, there is much that I gain from aiding others. But I suspect you will find your reason elsewhere."

"Food's good.." he admits "Shelter's nnice.. but.. Right of havenn means that's for anyone? What about cash?"

Gerd mutters "PLEASE let me drop him in the lake again.. this time on purpose"

"What about it?" she asks, then raises a brow at Gerd. "No."

Gerd huffs

"Well, it makes the world go arounnd and I believe it..." And he.. doesn't. He doesn't really but he's pretending "you guys look well off enough" True "maybe I'll stick around if you make it worth my time?"

Snort.

Brekke nods slowly. "Three days is the traditional right of haven."

"I know I was this bad." She concedes to Brekke.

"You had difficulties, too, yes," she nods to Dagmar.

Gerd whispers "At least Dagmar didn't try to cash in on us"

"Fine so.. three days, I'll stick arounnd at... what, 20 bucks a day? That'll give me some bus money if I do leave. " Jordann suggests

A brow at Gerd.

Gerd gives a 'see' look

Then she blinks at Jordan. "And what will you do to earn this money?"

"I'm demand. I don't have to DO anything . you guys want me to stick around. Make it worth my time right?"

Tiffany hums the tune to Roxxanne. Oldeer folks might get it
