Dagmar has dozed off again on the couch, as Vali gave The Spiel.

And there's a centaur who is NOT Lane looking overwhelmed by it all

The Chieftain definitely appears startled by the new centaur after she bursts through the door. A brief puzzled frown. "Who are you?" she asks brusquely as she passes him to take a look at Gerd (who is closer) first, and then Dagmar.

"I'm Jordan and I didn't ask to be a centaur" he says "it's weird"

The cookie knocked out the worst of Dagmar's injuries, though dried blood and torn clothing speaks to her accident - that, and Tiffany's improvised split on the troll's thigh.

"Mmph." The Chieftain is preoccupied. Jordan will get her attention later. She looks at Tiffany and Vali. "Is Kerri here?"

The split is well done , the leg quite straight, this must be stressed, or a certain pooka will bite the narrator . She shakes her head "I ate her."

Gerd groans "This all went down while Kerri was helping Anne Marie with that bake sale fund raiser"

"This van came by the Barn. Did... dunno.. some kind of magic on a toy to make Lane want it?"

"Hm." Brekke frowns, considering the wounds on both young women. And a look of anger at the description of the toy tactic.

She rubs her face, still bleary. "I got on my bike to go after them, but wrecked. Oh, shit, I didn't call my parents..."

A look to Vali. "Call Jaymes and Tove, tell them where she is."

"Already done" he says "tove's watching Lane and can't leave, Jaymes .. Jaymes tried to get to that van but it's long gone"

Then Vali looks to Dagmar "And sorry, Dagmar. I should have told you but you were nodding off. "

"No, that's okay. Sorry."

She nods and moves closer to the fire. "I will see what help I can add to what has already been done."

"Thank you for calling them. I was pissed off and not even thinking about it. Just getting the van, yeah?"

A quick glance at Dagmar's leg. "Who set this?"

Tiffany salutes

"Tiff. She got me out the ditch, too."

A nod. "Good work."

Scowl. "My bike's gonna be fucked up."

Her tail wags a bit, "Thanks. I've gotten good at pulling troll legs"

"Bike is being taken care of" Vali assures

A brow at the pooka, and then she takes a deep breath. to refocus. She rips some fabric off of the hem of her tunic, a long strip, and holds it in the balefire until it flickers and glows.

It lights up , Brekke can feel her hold 's essence. The flames writhing with surpressed ire. Her people , her boundaries, there is disrespect, there is danger to her charges!

A long, deep exhale. She withdraws the fabric and slices it into two pieces using the edge of Speaker's blade.

She bends to tie the first piece around the splinted section of Dagmar's leg. "Helbred, helten," she murmurs as she does so.

"What's she doing?" Jordan asks

"Magic" Vali says

Then to Gerd, wrapping the strip around her wrist. "Fienden vinner ikke i dag," another murmur.

Light dances from the Chieftain's hands, flowing like a quill's excess ink to each bandage .... the wounds seem engulfed each in their own little sunrise

and when the light fades?

A scar remains for Dagmar on her leg but it is whole

She exhales, regaining color as the pain fades. "Man, I need to practice magic so I can do that...."

and Gerd chuckles as she has two scars of her own where bullets were plucked out by Tiff earlier "Not bad young lady" Slips out.

Jordan's jaw drops

"How.." the Centaur blinks "How's that possible?"

"It took me many years, Dame," she says to Dagmar.

Then a blink at Gerd, and a grin. "Than you, Old Man."

Gerd snorts "Yeah, he's got an opinion on everything"

"Magic isn't my strong point. Thanks, Chief."

She tries lifting her leg, and wiggling toes.

Then she looks at Jordan. "It is enough for now to know that it is possible. I am Brekke Shacklebreaker, Chieftain here. Welcome to Rivervale, Jordan."

Jordan looks stunnned "Wow I..."

"D&D Larping has it's perks," Vali says

The crunch of bootsteps on gravel, and Frank opens the front door to step in.
