"And Sylvi. DarkGate is not far."

"Well, they're living together so not too hard" Olgar says then mutters "Last I heard, something about a maid.. but no cenntaurs"

"Call her, Olgar. Tell her of the map, tell her to alert DarkGate and have Nadeen alert SilverWolf."

"I should contact Siv. She said she had an idea, but I do not know much beyond that."

Olgar nods "I'll text. My daughter tends to act like phone calls are a verrbal attack sometimes"

"Mm." Almost but not quite amusement. "I have no skill at it, but..." She sighs and steps outside. It may be unnecessary, but she is reluctant to use her cellphone near the balefire.

She fumbles the simplest of texts to Siv. TXT: Call me as soon as possible.

TXT: Calling, when we have texts?

TXT: Please. Judging by how long the bubbles were bouncing, it took her a while to type that much clearly.

And the phone rings

"Siv," Brekke says. "Thank you. We have had more hunters seeking Lane."

"Beklager, mor. I should remember texting is hard for-" A pause then "They what?"

"Hunters here. After Lane. We have it handled for now, but there will be more. I need to know if you have made progress."

"Yes. it's crazy. He's got to have at least 10 professionals and two dozen amateurs"

Siv hears her mother mutter a few choice curses in her native language. "And they are decentralized. There is no stronghold to attack to defeat them."

"Working on that mom. I think I have a way to draw them under one tent"

Brekke was pacing as she spoke, but that makes her stop. "That would be helpful," she says with her usual understatement. "You will tell me more when you can?"

"Normally I'd make a joke about how standard operating procedure being keeping you innn the dark, but .." She has not made a mirhful note during this, "Not even going to try. They came after one of our charges. even Vali wouldn't joke about this. I will try to put them in one spot, and when I'm sure, let you know where to bring the storm"

She can't see the brief flicker of a wolfish grin at that, but she can practically hear the nod. "Good. I will not tell you to be careful, my daughter...but Good Hunting."

"Hold tordenen varm, mor. kjærlighet." and the call ends

A nod, and she puts the blasted phone away before going back inside.

"Mine's on it," Olgar says 'how's yours?"

"Siv has a plan. She thinks she can gather them in one place. I know nothing more than that, yet."

She looks over to Frank, who is napping in his chair by the 'fire. A slow exhale, then she looks to Olgar again. "Show me this motorcycle."

"Huh" He nods and leads her out to the motorcycle

She looks it over, checking the odometer, and she kenns it.

This thing has a great deal of glamour

"She's riddenn this on trods" Olgar says

"Mm." An eyebrow at him. "You would not have any interest in such a treasure, of course."

"You're a Gwydion, this isn't even remotely fair" He smirks

A brief sound of amusement, and then she crouches down to look into the motorcycle's headlight...and she just stares at it.

Of course, it's a staring contest that she can't win...but she keeps it up as long as she can, the bunk drawing glamour for the whisper.

And it is reved

"Before you came to Rivervale, where was the last place you stopped for some time?"

"Clearlake House.."

that sounds familiar, she's a ranger.. yes, a rental cabin

"Whom did she meet there?" she asks, gambling that a meeting occured.

"Other hunters that gathered, a splitting of terrain"

Her eyes go wide.

"Did she intend to return there after her task?"

"She had."

Olgar's brows go up

She nods slowly, rising from the crouch. "If the hunters are still searching, and not at the cabin, then the one we seek is not fully defended. We may be able to chop off the dragon's head."

A nod

and.. the whisper ends

"we got another lead" he nods
