Carowyn nods "Yes, Sally Mae, the food is wonderful"

Pleased, she smiles "Well, you've all earned it. Helping so many folk"

Then she says "Sparrow, what jobs?"

She brightens like the dawn. "Painting. At the apartments, and at a store."

"Oh, that'll be wonderful... you won't have to do small"

":Small is a problem?" Carowyn says?

"Small is fine... but BIG is more fun." A little grin, and her feathers fluff.

"Would you agree, Carowyn?" the tall kinian woman looks at Carowyn, eyes sparkling

"I...would" He wisely says, and gives a boyish blush

"The store will be two horses - based on the ones here, as I understand, Frank's niece is fond of them."

"Fond is an understatement" Sally Mae says

Carowyn nods "Dame Dagmar is as good a knight as I've ever met , honorable, chivalrous , brave and skilled at arms."

Then he adds "But she is mad for the horses"

A laugh. "I was a teenager once!"

"You know, I notice it's mostly city girls that have this crazy pony love" Sally Mae says "Nothing like working a stable at 7 to make you decide there's a bit less glamour than you think to em"

"Well, possibly..."

"I was fostered at a horse farm. And Earth Runs keeps a stable."

"I hear that Baroness Coradel is a bit horse mad herself" Sally Mae says

"But pre-chrysalis Julia? She had a horse phase."

"Oh, she is! Samson's a fine steed."

Carowyn smiles "And there's a tauntaun and a mechanical griffin"

"Oh, he's really a marvel... "

Sally Mae sits near Sparrow... and Sparrow can pick up that these two are more than friends. Oh Carowyn tries not to be too familiar, to respect Sally Mae, and Sally Mae is certainly not acting improper, but one doesn't have to be a boggan to see the ties.

"Now, give me the dish about Rivervale... I feel like it has been so long."

Sally Mae grins "Oh girl you have missed so much..." and starts to relay all sorts of things. Not just the get the dragon stuff.. but Jack's arrival... and the birth of CJ... and so on

Sparrow listens and comments appropriately. She seems happy.

"Gerd's grown up to be such a remarkable wilder."

"Yes" Sally Mae says "She's had some challenges but seems to be coming along"

"Who doesn't, really? But I'm glad she's in a good place."

"Well, apparently she's been courted.. though I'm not sure she realizes it." Sally mae says

"Oh?"

"I was thinking of taking her to visit Colton - Dark Gate has a lot of young men and few ladies, while most of the troll wilders here seem to be girls..."

"Funny you should mention that, that's where she found Wudlig..."

"Well!"

And that story comes out, with a nocker being dragged off by a girl he barely knows to help a runaway pooka ... and apparently he liked her because..well, gift

"Wonderful!"

"Were I a boggan, oh, I'd be tempted to manage them..."

"I think we're all secretly poking in juust a bit but don't let her know." Sally Mae says

"My lips are sealed." She makes a scout-promise gesture.

"Well, you truthbranches are in the shielding love business" Sally Mae smiles

"Well, mortals..." Carowyn says "but we're allowed to meddle with fae too ..just that's a hobby not a calling"

"So I'm fair game" A nod amused from Sally mae

"Well... I am beat. You two keep an eye down here, hm?"

She stretches, arms and wings, with a yawn.

Sally Mae takes the plate from Sparrow "It's good to have you here, Sparrow. And not JUST because you risked your life and the like."

"It... I always like visiting here, yes." A smile.

"You two - now, don't get in too much trouble, hm?"

"Baroness I assure you I... " Sir Carowyn blushes "We never let our affections get in the way of our ..ah duties"

Sally Mae turns her face to the side so he doesn't see her TRYING not to laugh
