Nab grows and gives Adam a HOT kiss.. then parts "Later"

And out she goes

The kiss is returned in kind, aroma not withstanding!

"Mmmm." Pleased, he watches her go.

"You like her, huh." The window rolled down a bit, but still able to hear the whisper if he strains.

"Right onto the interstate here, then you just take it up all the way to Albany, then hook a left."

"Gotcha. And yeah. Love her." A sigh.

"Anyway, why're we going to Rome?"

"I don't kiss my cat like that." A soft snort.

"Maybe you don't know what you're missing." Adam grins.

"What do you know about the Mission?" He asks, putting in the capital M. "Not sure if the chief has briefed anyone else yet. I'm not party to the chief's briefs."

"And probably hairballs." He adds sourly to that last.

"Why don't you tell me what got you all bloody, half of everyone in a daze and Sylvi's new haircut?"

"What Mission?" Adam seems honestly clueless. "Oh, there were these memory tick things and one got in my head and Dirk scared it back out and then we tracked them down to an old folks home and they killed 'em all."

"Ticks? Blech! You should get some powder for that." He scratches at his head, as though the idea of the body parasites makes him itchy. Though from the smell, maybe he just prefers DIFFERENT bugs.

"I wonder if you can quicksilver a car to go faster if no one else is around on the road." Head rested against the window, peering out moodily.

"It was pretty fuckin' gross, yeah."

"What the hell is in Rome, man?"

"A lot of Trolls. Sylvi's boyfriend, too. I think some common folks. And a monster in the basement."

"Why are you going there? WE going there?"

"I have to deliver a message. It's too important to send a courier or to trust to electronics... Did you see the sidhe with the wings who came to visit? That's not something you see every day."

"It's about 4 hours drive from here. If you want to open the windows and play some music or something, I'll hunker down and use earplugs. It will make more sense when we get there. Just tell me when we're close."

"A Sidhe with -wings-???? No! When? Where??"

A soft snort. "If I promise to introduce you to her... will you let me take a nap on the way?" Oh yes, he puts emphasis on 'her'.

"Her? A She-Sidhe with wings? Dude, tell me about her!"

Silence - head that was nodding already has drooped back there. It looks like Adam lost him for a bit.

Adam mutters quietly but contains himself...... and drives on.
