“My mother.” He says softly to Zane.

"I wasn't there...but I heard Dirk mouthed off to him, and he shot back with a 'yo-mama' slam."

"Oh..shit" Zane blinks

"Yeah, well, you're either Team Adam or the enemy."

“And he walked away from it. So maybe the dreaming does like him.”

"I confess, I'm surprised Dirk isn't wearing his rib cage as a hat... but dude, he probably didn't think of just WHO he was insulting when he did that.. it was just him being..well, stupid rash"

"The Chieftain stopped it. He didn't get to just walk away."

“And he didn’t learn. Did he?”

A wry look at Zane's comment. "Kinda Fiona."

“He’ll apologize. Because Chief said to. But he won’t be sorry.”

"Maybe."

“He might be sorry he got in trouble. And some day he’ll mouth off without the Chief to save him.”

"Hey, he probably IS sorry.. he lIKES Anne Marie. Everyone likes Anne Marie she's... she's the one you complain about sometimes but then when you need someone she's like legal to Kerri's medical"

"Symon, if you're there to hear the apology, you'll be able to judge for yourself."

He nods. "I hope so. And I hope what he gets is what he wanted. Or deserves. Da'an can be funny that way." He says in a low, forboding tone. Then looks around. "How was that, Dagmar? Does it work? I could use it for my next Cthulu DM voice."

"heh. You could."

"What is it with Sluagh and lovecraft gaming? Why not Dumas, or Arthurian?"

"Whatever, I will keep doing what I'm doing. I've been polite enough to him."

"The squids, Zane. For the undead squids."

"Lovecraft was a monstrous human, and I think some of it carries through." He nods to Zane. "I was thinking of a Conan campaign if I can get Dirk to stop eating the dice. It might be bloody enough to take his attention."

"Also, the undead squids. I'm already rocking the Innsmouth look." He tilts his head back and gapes his mouth open, like a landed fish, slowly asphixiating.

"GAH! Gross, Sy." Approving.

"Conan campaign? Damn.. the women in the art work are always hot for that stuff"

"Gah.. okay.. okay" He looks away from Symon "Undead Squid.. enjoy that. Pass"

"I like Red Sonja. She has comics."

Sylvi shudders. "Okay, that's...ick."

He grins at Dagmar and is... pleased by Sylvi's reaction!

"Yeah, Howard wasn't exactly progressive. But Take a few of his barbarian kings and turn them into Bloodthirsty Queens, and we're toppling the patriarchy. Even Rover Olgar might approve, if his game wasn't... hm, I'm guessing Poker, maybe."

"Poker, BlackJack...and he's a mean hand at Go Fish," Sylvi says fondly.

A laugh.

"No kidding it's poker.. he took my dad for a hundred and fifty last week" A sigh "if this hurts my Yule gifts I'm gonna be annoyed"

Sylvi can't help but look a little proud at her father's prowess.

He gives Dagmar a thoughtful glance. "They say Varich can see patterns. I wonder. Take Nadeen to Vegas some day, count cards and when you win it big, buy me a car or something."

Speaking of her father, Sylvi sees her father heading in, and he motions to his daughter wanting to talk to her about something privately

A pale hand raises to wave to Olgar in greeting.

A nod from the Rover to Symon and the others as well

"Speaking of..." she gives a little wave to him, then says, "See ya, guys," before jogging over to see what her father wants. The two move off to talk away from prying ears.

A wave to Sylvi.

"Seeya later."

Zane watches Sylvi go "She's really got a great a... attitude. She's got a great attitude"

A barely audible snort. "Say that where her dad can hear, I dare you." Amused.

"Can a satyr outrace a rover on his home trods? I'd put money on that..."

Zane says "Hey, Eshu are the reckless guys. Satyrs just FEEL too hard."

"Yeah..."

"Round two. Can a satyr run fast enough to escape an Eshu on the silver paths that feels her destiny lies with him?" Rubbing at his chin thoughtfully, stroking invisible beard... realistically, beard that will never, ever grow.

"Yes, but the Eshu will claim they were MEANT to lose for the 'greater' story and dimiss the satyr as a minor character" A grin

"Adam could have been a good eshu, too."
