Adam looks at Piper, focusing on her bewilderedly. "I... I was, just for a second. I felt... " He looks at Brekke. "It worked, but...??"

"But it.." Gerd stares

"What did you do?" She asks, tugging lightly at the collar of his new red-and silver silk collar in consternation.

"A new outfit?"

"Mm." She frowns, looking at him. "It worked. You, Adam Thomas, are sidhe. But your sidhe nature is yet dormant."

The heart-breaking plea is clear in his eyes; tell me it worked

And his eyes blaze with hope! "Well.... how do we wake it up??"

"Dormant?" She takes a step back, eying Adam. "Like... he's not chrysalized yet?"

"It...it should already wake," Kerri says. "You're infront of a balefire...."

Confusion.

Gerd looks to Dagmar, "You kennning what I'm kenning? It's there but..somehow..won't come out? "

"And he's been on trods..."

Brekke nods to Piper. "Something like that."

"Yes," Kerri answers Gerd.

"Throw Glamour at him directly?"

"Adam," Brekke says, "hold still..."

"Like when somebody is killed chimerically?"

Adam kisses Piper, and then goes to the Balefire. "So.... so it should work, right?"

He stops when he hears Brekke's order, halfway to the 'Fire.

"Kind of...yeah..." Gerd nods to Dagmar's comment

"Give me your hand..." She reaches to grip with her flesh hand.

"He got Holly-Struck earlier. Can you really GET more direct then that?" She says, her tone a bit distressed.

Brekke has his hand.

"And I've enchanted him a number of times..." Trailing off as the Chief reaches out.

"Nab took most of the hit....."

Brekke carefully gives him just a bit of her own glamour through the hand-clasp, watching him cautiously.

It charges.. but does not waken

"I felt that." He confirms.

"Does it need more?" She asks tentatively, a hand outstretched.

Gerd says "Guys, don't"

Brekke shakes her head. "No. No more. If that did not do it...."

A narrow look, not angry, but measuring.

"Maybe Emmit would know?"

"Yeah, he.. he could go into Bedlam, or dream struck" Gerd says "Not sure which applies, but if he isn't ..." A blush "Sorry"

"Gerd, do you know where the Mountain is?"

"No need to apologize, you are correct."

"Why isn't it working?"

"Nope. Sent a text." Gerd says "But he doesn't always look. He's not in the lodge"

"You're telling me this happens to people that -don't- want it but I do and it isn't???"

A frown towards Dagmar. "Will they let him back on the farm now?"

Brekke sighs. "Adam...there may be a step yet that needs to be taken."

"Oh, point..."

"Who was the Namer for Nadeen?"

"Like... arguably, turning him from a kinain to a kithain would mean changing his Name?"

"Well let's take the step!!!"

"Right?"

"Huh?"

Nabuni says "Second. I wanna try something" And she steps into Adam

"Changing his name - or finding it out?"
