"I mean, Piper isn't my name-name..."

Adam seems to treat this as a usual occurance.

Brekke is startled by Nabuni's sudden melding with Adam, but...waits it out.

"That's unnerving," Kerri mutters.

"Well, if the wish re-wrote his name.. from.. mortal-Adam to sidhe-Adam?"

"Frank said fledges are vulnerable to all sorts of stuff. I went into the Dreaming unsained, and picked up a hitchhiker, sooooo...."

"But it sounds like he's ALREADY sid- Fae. Maybe he just needs to be... reminded."

"A hitchhiker?"

Gerd blinks as Adam smiles "Okay, what's she doing in there?"

Adam makes an "Unnnk." sound. Piper would recognize it.

"I would not recommend the Dreaming yet, no. And we will seek out a namer for input.

(She would?)

"Well he WASN'T sidhe. That was the genie, right?"

Brekke turns away, frowning, from whatever is going on with Nab and Adam. She looks distinctly uncomfortable.

"So... yeah, different Name, I bet. And yeah. You've met her - Nadeen."

"He was sidhe kinain only," Brekke confirmst to Dagmar.

A frown.

Kerri sighs. "Nabuni," she calls out. "Not the time for...whatever you're doing."

"It... it wasn't... Nadeen's come a long way since then."

Nab pops out with unkempt hair and a smile "Whooo"

Adam looks dazed and sways slightly.

Gerd rolls her eyes "Oh for crying out loud, Nab."

"I mean... okay, Liam are often changelings, right? Human souls left?" She chews on a hangnail, thinking.

Nabuni says "Hey uhm.." A grin "it's ADAM in there"

Kerri clearly thinks that was pretty tacky.

"Though the Thomases are kind of breaking the rules in general..."

"Yes, Nabuni, That was not in question. Although...." Brekke turns to look at her, curiously. "There is no other soul that you discovered? Even dormant?"

"But it's not like Nadeen, new soul kicking out the old one.,, maybe.. I mean, Siv is all-new?"

"It's.. Adam the Sidhe... it's... I mean, it's like .. if Adam was a sidhe in there? He should Be a sidhe.. and..." Nab takes a breath "he's not going to be body jacked is what I'm saying. WHEN it comes out, he'll be Adam the sidhe, not 'Lord Highpants' in an Adam suit. That's GOOD right?"

"But... that doesn't make sense. You can't just MAKE a new..." A shake of her head. "Except his family did..."

"Yeah, that's good! How do ... what do I have to do??"

Brekke takes a deep breath and nods. "It is like Siv, also. She is...no other being but Siv."

Kerri relents in her judgy look.

"Siv is Siv." A nod.

Brekke considers. "That may be it, Adam. It may be a matter of some action you must take to awaken that side of you."

"A quest, I'm sure." A shrug. "Isn't it ALWAYS a quest?"

"Yes," Brekke nods. "Very likely."

"Also, Piper asked another question earlier," Brekke points out. "You will not likely be permitted back on the Farm, Adam. A price."

Adam looks like his brain has been rattled, and not in a good-Nab-kind of way.

He reaches for Piper's hand, and Nab's.

Kerri says, "You look like you need to sit down, Adam."

"Chief, what do I have to do?"

A somewhat sad look. "I wonder why... he had to be sidhe. His family is all common folk..."

"I do not know, Adam"

"That is my doing, Piper. It was what he has wished, it is his kith, and so I wished it for him." She proceeds to fill them in on what the rest of the interaction with the Genie was.

A look of profound shock at the Chief, and she just shakes her head, mute.

Kerri grins a bit. "Chieftain, you'll need to add outwitted-a-djinn to your Blot tales."

A faint sound of amusement from Brekke in response to Kerri, and then a look to Piper. "By bringing the lamp, he gained us the names of Dreamers who will be able to save more lives now. I repaid him with what he desired."

"Adam, determining your quest or task may take time. It will not be a matter of minutes or hours. But...you have a chance to become what you wish, now."

"Piper? What's wrong? It's.... I'm Sidhe-blooded, everyone says so.... why would I not be Sidhe?"
