"Muse?" Nab says "Can fae do that when they're..dormant?"

"This is what I wish to find out. If he can, then perhaps this task is part of his work."

"I tried, Chief. I can't... I don't know how to make Glamour. I wish I did."

A pause. "I should have asked for that." Guilty.

"That was then. You have changed in the last...oh, half-hour or so," Kerri points out reasonably. "We don't quite know what you are, Adam, but it's a good idea to try."

"If..... ok. If you say so." He agrees.

Dirk swings the door open "What's the sitch?" His spiked morning star ready

Brekke looks to Adam. "Explain to Peacekeeper Dirk, please." She wants to hear how he'll tell it.

"fuck" Muttered.

But Adam squares up and tells Dirk the sitch.

"What did you do NOW?" Dirk listens "Wait.. so that's why you're a ..." A look over

"Wearing the outfit I mean?" He blinks

.... and now I'm... here. Hanging out."

"YEAH. AND?"

Taking advantage of the distraction, she slips her hand free and moves over to the Chief, tentatively. Still somewhat nervous around the ruler of the lodge, it seems. "Um. Chieftain. Can I... can we..." A glance at the kitchen door.

Gerd whispers something to Dirk.

Dirk mutters to Gerd "You think? That'd SUCK"

Gerd gives the redcap a shove... and Dirk moves to Adam and sneers "So you're too much of a wuss to finish popping out huh? Maybe if I cut you open the USEFUL adam'll come out" his eyes glimmer... his yellow teeth shine and chomp

And Adam PUNCHES him right in the grill.

"Dirk..." Kerri says with some weariness.

Then Brekke steps forward and grabs Adam's arm. "HOLD."

And tackles Dirk, fighting, looking to leave him with a mark, ANY mark.

And suddenly Dirk is gone. Vanished.

Correction, she yanks Adam off of Dirk.

Adam is suspended by the Chief's grip.

But he wiggles.

Actually, from upstairs "What the fuck? I OWE HIM A PUNCH!"

Gerd says "Sorry, Chief, it was my doing... I think Adam's Fiona! I mean, fearless!"

"YOU WILL STOP." Brekke says.

Dirk peeks from the stairway then says "Sure, Chief." A look at Adam "Sides, he hits like a girl"

Adam was responding.... but at Brekke's order, he swallows it.

"Adam are you okay?" Nab says fussing over him

"FUCKER!"

"Then you have no need to retaliate," Brekke says firmly to Dirk.

A sigh as she sets Adam back on his feet but keeps a hand on his shoulder. "Yes. Fiona."

Dirk grumbles but bobs his head to the Chief

And Piper is melting into the background as much as she can.

Gerd says "House Boon without swearing?"

Dag hangs back, watching.

"Lame ass cheat is what it is," Dirk says under his breath

Brekke sighs. "My doing, again. I wished for him to be a sidhe of a seelie house. Apparently, the qualities have already manifested."

"YEAH?? COME GET ME, DICKDIRKWEED!!!"

"Chief? He's litterally ASKING For it" Dirk says

"YO MAMA ASKED FOR IT!!!"

Gerd says "You two don't cut it out, the only thing that is going to keep each one of you from being dropped in the lake is the Chief or Hearth saying 'Gerd no!'"

"ADAM. You will cease insulting others inside this Lodge. Do you understand?" She's clearly getting angry.

And Kerri looks like she's this close to doing something, but is deferring to the Chieftain.

Adam grinds his teeth down.

A sigh from Brekke. "Adam, let us go. We have much to explain to your family."

Low growl from Dirk.. his eyes narrow and it is clear Adam is going to regret insulting 'mama'
