"And you're a pretentious asshole who wants the world to kiss your ass who can't even get his Sidhe up when he has one" Dirk snaps.

Gerd begins to make a circular motion

Adam smirks "Kiss and lick me, whatever."

"Adam, please." She says in a low tone.

"ENOUGH." Brekke has actually given Adam a shake there, and now she's marching him out of the Lodge, a hand firmly on his shoulder.

Kerri shakes her head slightly at Gerd.

Adam marches along.

Gerd stops the motion

Piper bites her lip, and watches them go.

Dirk's eyes smolder as the Chief marches Adam off

"Piper," Kerri says, "I think you can go with them. Or at least...you can follow and ask."

"You too, Nabuni," she adds.

Nabuni nods and follows

She watches Nabuni go, and hesitates.

"I don't think he wants to me to watch the chief scold him." A shake of her head.

"Well...you're welcome to stay if you wish. And you," Kerri turns on Dirk. "What in the world inspired you to do that?" There's a scolding happening here, too.

"I don't narc" Dirk says jaws set

"it was me.." Gerd says to Kerri "Sorry, Hearth. I ...it seemed the best test for Fiona hood. To do it without letting Adam know. This is my fault. "

A step towards the door - then she stops, and looks... lost at what to do. She seeks out and picks up her cold mug of tea from earlier, and holds it.

"Oh, for the love of...." Kerri sighs. "Okay, so...don't do that again, Dirk. And now you've set it up that he's going to go right back to this the next time you meet." Another head shake. "You'd better explain to Adam, Gerd. But maybe tomorrow."

"You kidding? Soon as I meet Adam outside the hold I'm going eat his damn liver" Dirk says "he insulted.. .nmevermind he went too fucking far"

"I'll talk to Adam. See if I can get an apology for Anne Marie" Gerd says flushing and trying to assure Dirk

"Don't eat his liver, Dirk."

Kerri goes over to Piper and offers her a hug.

"Why not? Dags, if somone said that about Tove you'd put em through a wall, right?" Dirk says

"Sure, I'd want to."

"Just don't do permanent stuff."

"Okay fine... nothing perm.." He mutters

"MY fault, Dirk. I'll make it up to Anne Marie" Gerd says

Dirk stops and eyes her "Not sure that's how it works... but..yeah sure. "

"You know his mouth writes checks."

"Yeah, well, one day he's gonna mouth off to some redcap and get killed." Dirk says "Way I see it, Id' be doing him a FAVOR beating the stupid out of him"

Piper is surprised, but.... accepts the hug. "I'm sorry, Hearth. This is just... a whole lot today, okay?"

Dagmar shrugs. "He seems pretty persistent in his personality."

Gerd rubs her forehead "LEt me talk to Adam first, Dirk. Maybe I can get an apology out of him for Anne Marie's sake... not yours. "

"Yeah, well, he can hate me whatevs." Dirk says "I'm gonna go on patroll and hope I get into a fight where not everyone's coddling who I want to kick"

"Sounds like a plan."

Dirk stomps off

Gerd sighs "I screwed up so big. "

A glance over to Gerd. "I think it was all pretty screwed up already."

"heh" Gerd says, then gives Piper a bit of a hug "Kind of"

"Yeah, well, maybe he'll get the chip off his shoulder."

"With a promise that he can be a full Noble dangling in front of him?"

"Funny thing? If he did become sidhe, squires would out rank him"

"I'm sure it's his just due." A faint snort.

"I love Adam, but... he's already ..." She trails off.

A glance at the door, arms crossed, and then uncrossed, and she fidgets with her teacup.
