"Well...I mean, you know her better than I do, but has she ever refused to ask for something she needs?"

"I might be overreacting, sure."

"But Jack tagging along won't hurt..."

"Course not. Maybe...um, not sure how to approach it, but maybe I could train with her? So I could sort of spot her? Not sure if she'd welcome that, though...."

"I mean, I could run with her, but she might suspect something..."

"Well, yeah, but why not? Training for next years sports?"

"She also might just need a break from me and Jaymes. We can hover."

Sylvi grins a bit. "Little bit."

"Trollish instincts!"

"No argument here! I figure that's how your family works! Hey, has CJ done any amazing things in the last 5 hours?"

She laughs!

Zane approaches the girls "Hey? "

"Well, he realized he had toes. That was funny... hey Zane!

"Hi, Zane." Sylvi grin, then to Dagmar, "Got pictures?"

"Oh yeah..." Phone!

"Hey... I.. I'm intruding. Sorry, just I'm hearing some crazy shit from Ramona about Adam"

Grunt.

"Oh, wow, no...sorry Zane, timing. I was just trying to distract Ms. Worrywort here." A glance at a picture. "And apparently CJ's toes are delicious. But anyway...yeah, I heard the same. Dagmar, you saw it, right?"

"Saw some of it, was in the kitchen for some of it."

"Genie - like, lamp and wishes and everything."

He leans over "ah, baby pictures. Okay...I'm not one for babies as a rule, but CJ came into this world with a great set of hair"

"Totally."

"A genie?" A wow "I missed an actual genie. Some pillar of the mountain student of the occult I am. Genie are powerful guys! "

"Yeah, but tricky."

"Chief was pretty awesome, though."

"So, anyways, Adam - respect where it's due - brought the lamp to the Lodge, to ask the Chief about the best wish to use."

"I taught him well" Zane says "So..what wishes were made?"

"The first was to heal him and Nabuni - they'd been injured."

"The second was tricky, and he wished his wishes over to Chief by accident?"

"Chief, though, she outwitted the genie there and still got two wishes."

At the second he tisks "I wish I could have warned him. Genies are the worst cheat coders ever...." A smile "HEY, good on the Chief. Okay. What did SHE wish for?"

"To have mortals find a cure for the covid shit."

"But then, like, that would keep him busy-slash-trapped for YEARS, yeah?"

"So eh agreed to give names of good prospects to muse, and she got a different wish instead."

"Genius" He says delighted

"Yeah, well, she wished for Adam to get what he wanted most in the world."

"Threeeeeee guesses what that was, of course."

"Holy shit.. my best friend is a sidhe, isn't he?" Stunned "If .. IF it could work.. it shouldn't work that easy but...with all the spring energies maybe..."

"Yeah, well, sort-of?"

"He was sidhe for a nanosecond, then he wa slooking like Adam, but he KENNS sidhe..."

Sylvi blinks. "Whoa. Oh, wow......" Something has occured to her.

"Yeah?"

"I...um....Geez, Zane, I didn't even think of it until you said that, but...wait, I gotta think about it. Dagmar, explain the rest of it to him, will ya?"

"So, yeah. Adam is a sidhe but, like, in a shell and he needs to hatch?"

"And feeding him Glamour didn't do it."

"I thought maybe a Namer could help?"

"THat doesn't sound like your typical fledge... " a frown "Damn it. the only namer I know wouldn't help"

"Or some hefty soothsay..."

"Just glamour didn't do it...but part of Spring magicks is waking things up. Maybe I could do it."
