"So," Zane says in a pretty bad acting job "You come to me...begging a favor that i should look over your sword, but you do not ask it with respect"

"Huh?" Adam is confused. "I asked nice!"

"The God father? My god, your brain is a cultural wasteland. I weep" He says "Fine, Sides. I know you're just humoring hoping the Mountain shows up. Gimmie a look"

Adam passes the sword over, handling it like a precious thing.

"Trumpets, see?"

"Trumpets, often denote.. military service... or a readiness for battle...sometimes the symbol is simpler...an announcement period" He looks over it "Heraldry isn't my strong point but I learned some basics"

"Yeah, I'm trying to get those down too; it's a pain, though, why can't they just say the name of the color if they mean it instead of some weird name?"

"Can you magic it to get more info?"

"Ah, the weird names are colors" He says and then "You're gonna hate this... but..most heraldry? It's French."

"Well, and Latin I think"

Adam groans. "It's a fucking conspiracy....."

"Yup, they made the whole language just to piss you off centuries later" He nods sagely then "I think I can omen it, but I'm gonna need some dross. Can't do it on my own power . Too draining"

"I have some, but it's at home."

"Well, I hate to say this, I won't try it without some" Firm "it would suck me dry , the effort ..and not in a FUN way"

"No, Dude, that's totally cool. We can go to my place?"

"Sure" He says "Though I OUGHT to be mad at you.. finding out everything second hand " He rises to his hooves

"Dude, come on, it's not like I -planned- any of it."

"Yeah yeah... but somehow it blows up to full drama for like 10 different folks and I'm number 11. " He moves to the door "or close"

"You'll always be -my- number one." Adam smirks.

"I need to grow a beard now... improve the show" And off they go to anywhere...err Adam's place

Together they walk down to the parking lot and Adam will drive them to his house.
