Brekke nods. "We are well suited to help her."

Jaymes strokes his wife's hair

"Jaymes," Kerri says, "you may want to ask Sir Carawyn if he can take over the store for the next few days. Maybe...oh, I wonder if Adam would be willing to help."

"I'll ask Carawyn... Adam still legally too young I think.. but I'll make sure" Jaymes grunts

Hangnail chewing.

"Well, if you need us to work out coverage, I'm sure we can find enough willing people."

Brekke looks to Dagmar. "Dame, come with me a moment."

Nodding towards the door to the kitchen and beyond to the practice ring.

A frown - she's reluctant, but she follows.

Kerri watches them go, then looks to Tove. "So...favorite foods I should make sure to have on hand?"

"I like it spicy, but lately that seems to be irritating him" TOve admits "I've been craving sea food. Is that odd?"

Outside, Brekke rests a hand on Dagmar's shoulder. "You are scared for her. I understand. What she is about to go through is painful and frightening...but she will come through it well. All will be well. Do you hear this?"

"Well," says Kerri, "not odd, but no shellfish until after kiddo is out here in the world with us. Salmon okay?"

"Everything is going to be different..."

"Salmon would be great" Tove says

"Ah." Brekke nods. "It will. But then...that would be true even if you were not to have a sibling."

Tove does look at the door her daughter went through, worried "Is Dagmar okay?"

Clem says "She will be. I think the Chief is tending to that.. as Chiefs do"

"Yes. And she... she is going to be okay. She is." A little twinge on the gwyd-dar, but Dag's trying to convince herself She almost believes it.

"Chieftain pep talk," Kerri confirms, knowing the signs. "You're likely to get one, too, Tove. And you, Jaymes."

Jaymes grunts ("Just give mine to Tove or Dagmar")

Tove says "Well, If she must"

"Yes." Brekke says. "She will experience a great deal of pain. You must try not to react to that when it is happening. It is...bad. But it is temporary. You must remember that and be strong and steady for her while she cannot be."

"Humor her," Kerri says with a wink.

"Stoic. Steady. Rock in the storm." A firm nod, accepting the duty.

"Good." Brekke says. "Let us go back."

Tove says "Well, fine. I'll just pretend like when dad's trying to be wise and look VERY interested" Then she smiles at her father.

"Oo you're mean right now" Torin chuckles good naturedly about it

"Okay." A pause. "Thank you, Chief."

Kerri chuckles. "Well, I'll put the rest of the groceries away, if you'll all excuse me."

The 'other' kings nod to Kerri

"You are welcome, Dame."

And Brekke opens the door for her to reenter the Lodge kitchen.

The teen follows Brekke back to the lodge.

Just as Kerri's going into the kitchen. "Ah, all is well? " she asks Dagmar and Brekke.

Brekke nods. "All is well." And she continues through to the main room.

"Yeah?" Kerri asks Dagmar to confirm.

Dagmar nods. "Yeah. It's gonna be okay."

"I'm holding you to that," Kerri says with a wink as she starts putting away groceries.

Siv's room is being reshuffled for Tove's use... and Jaymes is helping her up.

Clem says "Well folks. I'm off to the farm. I will be in touch and expect to see you soon"

"I can bring Raindrop. And TwoBit."

"Oh I'd like it if Raindrop where here" Tove admits

"Thank you, Clem." Painfully earnest.

"I'll be calling, Clem," Kerri calls from the kitchen.

"I will walk you to the trod, Chieftain," Brekke says to Clem.

Clem smiles at Dagmar, "You and your family are always welcome." "Good to know, Hearth." And "Happy for the company, Chieftain" Clem says. as she makes her way out with Brekke
