"False labor?" Tove says "I scared everyone, even myself, and it was... " A groan

"It happens, honey. Now this isn't a bad sign. Real one could start up in the next day.. I want you to take it easy, don't go far from home"

Dagmar flings to Tove's side.

Connor silently puts the towels away.

Tove holds Dagmar in a tight hug . Jaymes puts hands on them both.

Tove says "I'm sorry, you two. Didn't mean to scare you."

Then she says "oh.. Jaymes, I had you close up shop for nothing"

Jaymes snorts ("Not nothing!") Double snort ("Family EVERTHING")

Dagmar clings to Tove.

Clem says "Cant argue with either of you"

"Should she stay in the hold?"

"Go to the hospital?"

"She should stay near the lodge, or her own home" Clem says, and pretty sur she said it before but repeats. "I think she might want to carry her phone with her just in case she needs to text. I'll have someone b the phonee at the farm"

Fuss.

Jaymes nods "She'll stay at the lodge. PHone with her at all times along with one of us."

"She did not SAY that" Tove protests

Nod-nod-nod.

"We can get a bed set up..."

Clem nods "As long as you take turns so whoever isn't too tired"

"Yeah, sure. Can do."

The towels are KIND of ..put back right.

Clem says "And I'll want a free slurpee/icee thing at the store for the next five Debukes that drop by it"

Jaymes nods "Done"

"Did you just trade my freedom for SLUSHIE discounts?" Tove says to Clem

"Midwife fee" Clem says

"The Dr Pepper one is really good."

"It is? I'll try one, thanks, " Clem says

"Maybe a cot by the fi-... no, bedroom. Siv's should be free."

"Sounds good" Clem says "The balefire she doesn't need"

Tove huffs

"What?"

"You're surrounded by trolls, Tove."

"I am a troll. I am the daughter of giants and .. I do not need..."

The door swings open, Torin rushing in "I got the message, is she okay?" He moves towards t he crowd around his daughter "is it happening?"

"Not yet. Soon."

"Oh goodness which of you ratted me out?" Tove says

"I'm your father, young lady," Torin says firmly "Is this how your mother would treat family?"

Tove.. pouts "Noooo."

"Mmmph" Torin nods ("Settled then")

"She's staying in the Lodge."

"We'll take shifts."

Torin nods "I can take any you like" He agrees

Tove continues to pout, but appears to be subdued by the forces of Fam.

Dagmar, emboldened with a mission, tromps upstairs to prepare Siv's room for Tove.

Clem says "I think things are in good hands here for now. "

Kerri, having been shopping to make up for the groceries that got smushed when she dropped the bag at seeing Brekke cutting off Adam's fingers, comes in through the kitchen door, arms loaded. And there she sees.... ((describe whatever tableau presents itself, please))

More groceries not quite put up in the kitchen... and then.. in the living room, a Sofa..with Tove laid out. Clem and her little black bag near her. Dagmar latched onto Tove, and Jaymes over both of his ladies. Torin nearby giving a firm look to a pouting Tove.

There might be a few towels still being put up.

....dish towels, hand towels, beach towels...
