Adam stand with his parents, and pushes the back of his hand across his eyes.

Dag pets Connor's head, trying to soothe.

Torin tuts and aids in that

He looks up at her in abject misery, and tugs at her arm to get her to come a little lower.

If allowed, she awkwardly hugs.

He inches away and whispers desperately to her.

She does hug. "When I was little like you, well... it happens, sometimes. I did it too. C'mon, kiddo" Hug turns into a scoop up.

"A bath will help. Bubbles will help more."

"So. Ok." Adam straightens. "Guess..... guess the Chief is going to...uh.... want to ask some questions."

He nods, embarassed, and lets her bundle him up. "C'n... c'n I use the stinky stuff Sylvi has? All flowers?"

Quietly. "I can smell the blood and it's all up in my nose."

"I think there's Paw Patrol bubble bath, and it's extra stinky." She carries the pooka upstairs, the childling being no burden to the young giantess.

A nod and he is tucked away to hide in a troll-sized tub filled with suds and bubs.

Torin nods "Take good care of him, Dagmar. "

Jack leans against Torin's legs.

Adam leaves the shelter of his parents and approaches the Chief, his head held high.

Inside, Kerri tries to make sure that everybody feels more settled and secure.

The Chieftain turns to Adam. She looks...a bit tired. "Adam." she says.

"Yes Chief." A head tilt.

The Thomas' look on

PJs and a stuffed animal are left outside the bathroom door for the pup - he is informed of thus after a soft knock. She won't intrude on his privacy, however.

She looks down at him a long moment. "How did this happen? In your words."

"I was at the bus station in town and..... he swapped. I mean we swapped bodies. Mine.... this one... for what he was using."

A pause. She seems to be giving him a opportunity to say more, if he wishes.

He does not.

Kyle clears his throat

"Dad, no."

"Did you agree, in some way? Accept an offer? I am trying to understand how...so I can tell others what to watch for. I do not know much of willworkers."

Then an eyebrow at Kyle.

"No, Chief. At least.... I don't remember that."

"Pardon, Chief. I just, I know my boy well enough to know he'd never willingly endanger the lodge. That much I know. He's..tired, and confused and probably hungry, or so it seems but... this mess, he'd never invite it."

"No, I do not intend to accuse. I suspect he did not agree intentionally. I am wondering if he did something unwittingly that gave the willworker an opportunity." Then she looks back to Adam. "I know you tried to protect the Lodge. You gave warnings. Thank you."

"Welcome." He moves away from his father. "I can answer questions."

Kyle looks pained as his son moves away "Yes, I know. "

Brekke looks between both of them. And then Brenda. Then back to Adam. "You can answer some questions, yes. But the crime happened to you, and then in places where your mind was absent, though your body was present. We have the criminal now. And...I now understand better why you were refusing to follow my instructions to come to the Lodge," a slightly wry eyebrow.

"Mam?"

"I was trying to have you come to the Lodge to speak with you, as on of the Crash of the Storm. To see if you wished further training or guidance. It was the Mountain's suggestion....and when you ignored or told me you were busy, I was not pleased."

A look to Kyle as she speaks to Adam. "I went to seek you at your home, and learned from your father that you had left. I confess that I was not feeling generous at that point."

Dagmar comes downstairs, drifting to check on Torin who should be by the fire.

"I.... Sorry. "

"Well...I do not know what parts of that were you, and which were the willworker," she points out.

Brenda Thomas looks tired, relieved her son is alive and okay, but tired and...unsure where this is going even now

Brekke looks at the group. "Do you all wish to stay at the Lodge tonight? We can set up sleeping arrangements."

"We just want our son back" Brenda says "But.. I may have one more thing to tend to, or so the Professor tells me"

"I'm ok." Says the tired boy, independent.

"Torin is staying." Stubborn.

Brekke shakes her head to Brenda. "The professor has explained what has been decided within the Tragos. I still must speak to the sisters, I think, but there is not further task you must do, that I am aware of." She pauses. "Perhaps, though, we should speak more another time."

Torin blinks "I am?"

Glare. "One cookie. You are still hurt."
