Connor watches a show on Turner Classic Movies with WIDE EYES. A glance over to Jack. "I'm not sure I should be seeing this..."

A familiar pounding of feet approaching at a run will likely have any alert dogs up and barking hello/problem?/alarm!

Dagmar leaves from the stables at the dog's cries. Flyswatter is snagged and up in hand!

Well, the dogs didn't cry in 'enemy' but rather confusion

A moment later, Brekke is opening the door. Lily is cradled in her left arm. Brekke looks around the room. "Dame Dagmar...." She looks concerned.

And they see Adam... his hand IN the Balefire

Brekke passes Lily off to Dagmar, and in the same motion is halfway across the room. "REAVER!" she bellows, reaching for Adam.

or rather, Adam-not-Adam.

"....what the actual fuck?" She's not entirely sure what is happening...

Adam looks over "Amazing... I thought your kind dead, but he can see you, and now so can I" he turns and gestures..."The boy delayed me, with the illusion, but you might want to tend to him... I can send a bolt of fire and kill him instead of..what did you call it, Reaving?"

She can, however, put the sluagh behind her. She glowers.

It's amazing that he's able to get that many words out, especially with Brekke's silver hand around his throat.

Lily gasps "..jack" what would be a yell

Dagmar's eyes dart, searching for the satyr.

Her wolf fangs visibly clenched, she manages NOT to squish the mortal's neck. "Where is he?" she seethes. "The injured one?"

The satyr is nearby, burn marks on his tiny body...about 6 feet from the feet of 'Adam'. there's a phone in his hand

"you mean.. the kid who's going to burn more?" and a bolt of fire shoots towards Jack

And yes, Brekke could snap the 'Adam's' neck

but there's a kind of insanity in the eyes that often hold so many saner moods

"Lily, RUN."

Brekke tries to turn them so she's in the way of the bolts of fire, but doesn't let go of him.

Lily does run..

and Brekke Burns!

She is not fireproof. It does not engulf her, that would burn this crazed will worker as well

But she does burn.. her chest feeling like someone took a blow torch to it.

She does, but she ignores it while manhandling this...thing...out of the Lodge through the kitchen and into the yard in back.

Dagmar goes to scoop up Jack.

"Kill me... and the boy will never.. " Choke "Get his body back"

A gasp, and she grits her teeth and casts a heather balm on herself by drawing blood from biting her lip.

She holds Adam's body at arm's length, feet up off the ground. "I don't have to kill you...but I can HURT you...again and again...and still heal his body so he'll never know when he's returned to it." She shakes him. "Who are you?"

Dagmar salvages Jack. She remembers in her studies about burns.. it's the smoke that... Jack is having trouble breathing

Brekke showed her... it... lay him flat, tilt the head... breathe in his mouth...

"C'mon...." one.. two...

A gasp, choke "Gotta tell the oth..others.."

Jack wakes

"You're trying to match a wizard in magic? " 'Adam' would laugh if he could

"We're here." She scoops him up again... where would... stables. Just try getting past several hundred pounds of muscle and hoof and teeth...

Brekke's glamour weaves and dances, healing her charred flesh ...

"No..." She takes a moment and bodily crashes him to the ground of the ring. Hard enough to rattle his teeth, but not hard enough to break him.

"...not with magic."

Torin lays slumped on the floor. What he was hit with is hard to say, his flesh looks crackeed

Outside: "Where. Is. Adam?"

"I control, magic" The wizard says "But if this helps... " He intones "I don't believe in fairies!"

"Oh, Torin..." She frowns, and puts her hands on him. "Oh... shit.. shit.. EIR. EIR, I invoke you, I unleash my glamour, Eir, heal!" And she does just that - she only has the most basic primal, but she KNOWS it can heal... so.. if she throws enough glamour at it?

And banality warps and wraps around Brekke, not insideious an slow... Suddeny and like a personal tidal wave from no where

And everything starts whispering... "Hey, Kitchen door here.. psstt... ask me where the healing cookie is, I can't answer unless you ask.. shit shit this sucks"

An only-slightly hysterical sob. "Where are the cookies?"
