"Jaymes.." Tove says "Love IS important" Blink Blink

He glances at the wife he loves, then to the daughter he adores, then nod-shrugs ("Has its perks")

Sigh. ("Smooching time, huh?")

Tove swats her husband lightly, then looks to Dagmar "You have done your daughterly duty and are free to enjoy the day" A smile of fangs eyes bright

"Yeah, time to check on the horses. You two kids have fun!"

"Will do" Tove waves

And off she goes to check on the horses!

Star is, with relative patience, allowing Stormwind to nibble at the frosting to groom it from her mane. It IS sugar, after all. And she can't reach it.

A sigh, but a hint of amusement with it. "Okay girl, let's get you brushed..."

She trots over and eagerly submits to the grooming.

Pink is, perhaps, not her color.

Okay, she does chuckle. And settles into familiar routine.

Dagmar is not that chatty - well, for a troll maybe - but with the horses? Oh, they hear all about her day, that, and lots of praises for being such smart, beautiful, wonderful horses...

Raindrop flies out and trots on the railing. She has grown more bold with Tove and Dagmar's love and visits 'the big horses' more often

"Oh-ho, you got out of dodge, too?"

Star, however, is saddled for a quick trail ride. In another month or so, this won't be possible... but for now?

And the woods around the Lodge are quiet, especially these days. Good for riding.

If Dagmar rides too gently, or seems to be trying to rein her in, Star tosses her head and picks up the pace. She is spry and magnificent, and horses are built to run, to run when heavy with foal, and to run with their foals hours after birth. She will not be coddled!

"Alright, alright! Run, girl!"

A whinny of exhilaration and she takes off! She has been feeling a little heavier lately, but she accounts for it and stretches her legs, exhalting in the exertion.
