"That's real nice of you, Connor. Come on in, you want some lemonade?"

He gives her a shy smile. "I got lotsa deliveries to make today, today I am Buddy the Delivery Pup." He does have a backpack on that looks somewhat full! "But, Lemonade is awfully good."

"It won't take hardly any time. Gotta be hydrated to deliver."

"That IS true. You're a smart cookie, Dagmar." And he offers the bag to Tove. "And this is a smart cookie for you. Happy MayDay, I think."

"A Delivery pup! Oh, I have heard of these brave souls who travel across far lands and near to bring joy..." Tove takes it, "And now I have met one!"

Dag goes to get a glass of said drink.

Inside is a cookie, oh, it smells delicious. One of Kerri's, or perhaps Sallie May - a heart shaped sugar cookie, but decorated with splodges of messy frosting that is swirled in pink and red, and with some sprinkles haphazardly stuck on - mostly in the bag at this point. "Because it is a day for moms and you're a nice mom and you're gonna be a TWICE mom, and you should have a cookie."

A similar bag has been left for both Kerri and for the Chieftain, they will find when they look. Maybe not right away, because Kerri's is on the soap rack in the shower - hopefully she notices BEFORE turning the water on, and the chieftain's is in her sock drawer. A crayon paw print on the bag will let them know who left it behind.

Tove sniffs the cookie "Oh this is so good.. and the decoration is so artistic! Dagmar, behold this cookie,is it not artfully done?"

"I have one for Lilly's mum too, but it's harder to deliver into the No-Go-Zone."

"It's a good cookie!"

She offers Connor his drink.

He smiles at her and slurps the lemonade. "Oh. Someone got some frosting on Star's mane." He looks a tad guilty. "She is a messy eater."

Eyebrow.

"I think it was probably Boss Jaymes." He leans in and stage whispers. "Don't be TOO mad at him. "

"I don't think cookies are very good for horses. So... not more than one?"

"Not more than one. Unless she's gonna have more babies. How many babies do horses have? Like... 5? Like a kitty?" Curious. Then, he looks over at Tove's belly, appraisingly.

Tove notices the look "I have one. Just one in there right now. And when he gets out, I am going on a diet." Then she MUNCHES the cookie

He covers a giggle.

"I'm pretty sure horses only have one. And CJ is just one in there, too."

He nods as he sips the lemonade. "That's good. Otherwise it would get crowded."

"Yeah..."

"Yeah."

He rifles through his bag and looks concerned. "Did I forget any moms? I have one for the Hearth and the Chief and one for Vali because he looked pretty in his dress, and Lilly's mom but if she gets it late then it will be stale and Lilly can eat it. Jack is more busier worrying about Mums then Moms. Get it? Because that's a FLOWER."

"You seem to have some.. oh, well... there's Anne Marie"

"Oh, mmm. I can send it home with Dirk." He looks somewhat doubtful about that.

"I thought of giving one to Tiffany since she has Margalita now, but I think she might snap at me if someone called her a mom." A goofy grin.

"uh.. mmm" Tove ponders then a smirk "She might"

"She's a little sensitive. Vali would like a cookie though, I bet."

"He needs a cookie. He looks skinnier lately. But I didn't say so because it's rude to comment on someone's weight." He remarks with the tone of one repeating what they have been told, even if they don't really get why it's important.

"VERY Rude" Tove says nodding

"But luckily, Connor isn't rude."

"No, never."

"Connor is versed in all canine courtesies and Pooka politness, and Boyish Behaviorisms" Tove agrees

He grins. "I learned it in Proper Pooch 101."

"Totally."

"Okay, I better go a'fore the cookies get stale. Happy Day-day, Miss Tove."

"Thank you, Connor. Your'e the best buddy ever"

"be safe, Connor!"

Tove is a just and kindly tyrant. She insists they watch romantic comedies as a family but misses it up with movies with many explosions.

Movies, cooking, MORE tartines...

Tove declares she must stop.. or she shall burst...

also Jaymes has dinner plans.

Jaymes comes in, "mmm?" (Am I supposed to do something? I thought this was Mother's day, not wife's day)

Eyebrow. ("NOT funny.")

Tove Sniffs ('You tell him, Dagmar')

Jaymes takes Tove's hand and kisses the knuckles ('Forgive this cad, dear lady and love of my life')

Tove tries to hide her pleasure at this supplication, then says "Dagmar, should I forgive this cad?"

"Welllll, it's your day..."

"fine" She kisses him gently on the lips "I forgive you, Jaymes. You may worship and adore me today. Thank our lovely daughter for inspiring me to mercy"
