Dag grins.

"I think you bring out a lot of good in Nadeen, and I think she brings out some good things in you so.. last thing I want to do is get in the way. Let me know if you guys need money for movies, when the theatres open again, okay?"

SIGH. "I do hope this is over soon..."

"I know, it makes folks stir crazy and mean. But atl east you two can travel."

"True. Maybe we'll hit the Dreaming..."

"I can't believe I'm not 'oh no my baby' but if it helps it helps" She nods

"Well, today is YOUR day... we can't go too many places, but..."

"And Dad has some dinner plans, so..."

"He does" She is pleased

"But he's working now. He got regular eggs."

"He's got no steel in his belly" she sighs lovingly

"We love him anyways."

"Yes."

Fond eyes "I suppose if he were perfect he'd get boring"

"Oh, man, I must be super interesting..."

Her mother laughs and Dagmar gets a kiss on the side of the head

A happy smile. And she steals more bacon. "There's leftover salmon and cheese, so we can make more tartines later if you want."

"I"d love that.. we could cook together ." She admits "Sometimes I think cooking with you by my side ...well, that and singing, those are happy places"

"Okay, so we'll cook and sing. Good plan."

"Yes,rather clever aren't I?"

"Well, don't knock yourself out agreeing" She munches her food but smiles.

"You are." Good natured

"Thank you. Today you may spoil me outrageously" She shines "I like this holiday"

Dag laughs.

"Good."

"Now, how long do I have to stay in bed?"

"Well, you've eaten..."

"Well then, I shall rise and get a shower..and dress in my most comfy of clothes? is that how this is done?"

"Your day, your rules."

"Um, to be honest, I haven't got a lot of experience with this."

a whisper "me neither"

Then a wink "We'll learn together, mmm?"

"Yeah, we will!"

Tove rises .starting to take the finished trahy then stops "Or do I hand this to you?"

"OH, right!"

"You shower, I'll go clean up."

"Okay, thanks" A kiss on Dagmar's cheek, and Tove goes to shower

And Dutiful Daughter goes to clean up. Odin and TwoBit miiight get some of the safe leftovers.

A soft knock at the front door.

The pooka tries to wait patiently, but it's not quite in his nature, and he finds himself fidgeting and trying to peek through a window.

"Coming!"

The door opens and Dag grins. "Hey! Connor!"

He beams up at Dagmar and offers out a paper baggie - like a lunch sack, somewhat crinkled. "I brung this for Tove, because it's her birthday." A nod.

Tove comes down in comfy clothes "Connor?"
