It is a compelling battle, indeed.

Adam impatiently jerks at the rope, a sudden, sharp movement.

Rikki blows the boys a kiss

and which cost him the victory? We may never know ..

But Adam misteps as the rope loosens and Zane wins!

"Aaarggh....!!!" Adam tumbles again, falling heavily to the ground.

"Ha!" And she applauds both boys. "Well fought!"

Adam bounces up. "Zane, you son of a ......" The Chief's words pull his next words up short and he has to swallow them hard. ".... lucky son of a .... yeah, uh, good on ya."

"Rootbeers in that cooler are cold " A grin but he shakes his friend's hand

Adam returns it, and raises a bro-hug. Then he goes to the cooler, his good-nature returning, and brings one over to Zane. He has one too.

"Thanks man"

"S'all good. Good game."

Others take their turn

Adam sucks down some soda and looks around the party....

Brekke looks over the crowd of happy partygoers, and sighs with content.

Frank approaches Brekke.

Brekke grins as Frank approaches, and she shows him the CD from Siv. "She says this is a gift for both of us."

Adam's Mother approaches him, "Adam? What's this I'm hearing about Tequilla?"

He blinks. "Mom? What are you doing here?"

Frank examines it, and smiles under his beard. "Thoughtful."

"What am I doing here?" Brenda says "Your sister is a chldling, the holiday is for little kids. I'm her mom too and then I find out you're talking about Tequla ?"

"Well.... yeah." Nonplussed.

"Adam, I really don't want you arrested for drinking under age" Brenda says "Where did you get this Tequilla?"

Brekke nods. "Apparently, she sang it herself. I look forward to listening."

"Uh, rather not say, Mom...."

"Adam, do you think I really care whether you 'rather' or not on this one?" Brenda Thomas taps a hoof

"Look, we were safe, we were in a private, uh, place, I didn't drive after. We crashed here on the couch, woke up, and this was going on."

He speaks super calmly. "Look, you see that guy with, uh, Eve? Eden? He drove us here."

Dagmar trades spots with Vali again, "Star keeps trying to steal Stormwake's apples"

Frank nods. "I do too."

And Adam's Mom looks, then turns back "Is he the one who got you the Tequila?"

"No."

"Then Adam, stop ducking the question, please" She says

Adam gets a stubborn look on his face.

Etsie speaks up, "i'm so sorry, Brenda. I gave them booze. I didn't know you had a rule against it... you being a satyr I thought, well, I was wrong and shouldn't have had them join me for a drink"

"Miss Etsie didn't give us tequila." Firmly.

"Wait, what?" His mom says

Etsie sighs and gives Adam a look like 'you blew it, kid'

"What? You didn't, it's not your fault."

"Star takes apple-theft as counting coup, I think."

Kyle says , "Let's resolve this later at home. Adam, no more alchohal without us knowing about it before you have it...and yes, that means you probably will be waiting till 21"

The stubborn look darkens and there's a snowball's chance in hell that restriction will be observed.

Frank is aware of the brewing family matter, but stays with Brekke.

Brekke also notes the trouble and sighs. "This is not for us to intervene in. Do you agree, Mountain?" she turns to Frank with a slightly wry look.

"I do." Frank rumbles.

VALI looks over at his bride to be, "You mean like, how your future wife might act like she doesn't want fries, so you order fries for yourself, then when you turn your back she snags like most of them ?" Then back to Dagmar "like that?"

Tiffany gives a too wide grin and wag

Kyle puts a hand on his son's shoulder and he whispers "Adam, I am trying to end this public display for as much your sake as your mother's. Please work with me here?"

Adam gives his father a look that rails against the injustice of the world and pleads for recognition and freedom!

Kyle then sighs and whispers "Besides, Tequila? why do you want to drink worm bath? There's better liquors"
