Nadeen sighs "I do envy that I suppose"

Anne Marie looks at the Chieftain, "Brekke, I don't have any official function here. I know that and I'm fine with it, but.. unofficially, if you need someone to talk to you, who is unofficial, my door is open to you. I'm sure this inrush of new changelings you didn't have a hand in feels..well, intrusive. I know it does to me."

(Inside) In fact, he showers from head to foot (thinking wistfully of Nab, and two Cuban sisters....), does what he can for his teeth and hair, and ends up with a towel around his waist, waiting.

Brekke gives Anne Marie a slightly startled look. Then a rueful grin. "Boggan. I suppose I did not realize I was that concerned."

(Inside) A knock at the shower door "Clothes "

(Inside) Adam leaps up and cracks the door open.

And Anne Marie says "Tish tosh, you want to be able to serve the community, but you can't do that unless you know the community and folks changing it on you without so much as a 'oh by the way' makes your job harder. Nothing wrong with your caution about it. I'd be worried if you suddenly became oblivious and apathetic about it. I'm sure this Caesar doesn't mean malice, but he's not thinking far beyond his nose and it shows"

"Yes. Yes, it does." Brekke agrees, but she doesn't sound completely happy about the fact.

(Inside) Clothes hand over "There you go man see if that fits"

(Inside) Adam takes the garments and tries them on.

Anne Marie nods "Mind if I get to know the folks there? Socoalize and jabber with you? A blush

(inside) They fit

Brekke blinks at Anne Marie. "No, of course not. Please. Besides, I hardly think I could stop you if you wished to." A small grin.

(Inside) "You're a miracle working, Dude!" Adam checks himself in the mirror; looking good?

DAGMAR gets fussed at if she neglects her eating and drinks "You need to stay hydrated" A fuss

(Inside) "Only, Dude, I'm going commando. Thanks for the loan but.... pass."

(Inside) Mmm sleevless shirt shows off his arms for the chicks. Shorts work fine

(Inside) "I figured but hey, they're clean)

And The boggan smiles at Brekke "Well, I'd probably give into the urge eventually" She laughs softly "Oh looks like that box and rope game is a hit"

(Inside) Adam emerges, looking MUCH better. "And I appreciate, but... yeah, pass." He grins. "So.... you said there was a party? There's always coffee here, right?"

(Inside) "you kidding? The one thing that would have our nice and stoic chief go full on VIKING raid on a place would be a lack of coffee" He says "We're talking axe to the door, bags seized, and longship ready to get away"

"Box and rope? ...Ah! Hunkerhausen!" She looks pleased. "Good. That is a good game. All who can stand and have a good arm can play."

(Inside) "Ok, coffee and then party." He stops. "Wait. I mean.... am I allowed?"

"You should try it, Anne Marie," Brekke encourages.

"Hunkerhausen... mmm clever" Anne Marie says "Looks like young Brogan is determined to prove himsself on it. Proud boy, but a blessing to the Hearth. Never known a sidhe to act like Kitchen work was a badge of honor, nice to see at least some of them have sense there" A look over "Me? Oh good lord no, Brekke. Weebles wobble but they don't fall down is VERY wishful thinking"

"Ah. Afraid." Brekke diagnoses, weaving another grass crown as they speak.

(Inside) "Yes yes get out there man... this 'am I part of this' stuff gets old" Zane moves him along

"I don't see you up there, Brekke" Anne Marie points out with a mmmm?

Adam grabs a .... wow, that's a big mug..... of coffee and follows Zane.

Outside, Sylvi is helping Vali with the childlings who want rides, and helping Stormwake keep his temper.

An eyebrow from Brekke. "Is that a challenge?"

Dagmar and Nadeen are off eating lunch under a tree, with the trolless fumbling to make a flower wreath from dandelions and baby's breath.

"Why I believe it might be" Anne Marie dimples

"Rikki has a bit of a mouth on her," Nadeen says now that the pooka girl and her father out out of ear shot

Brekke looks amused. "Well, then." She rises from the table. "Let us settle this. After you." She gestures for Anne Marie to lead the way to the hunkerhausen game.

As Adam and ZAne comes out, Lily and Lydia move up to their brothers

Adam scans the crowd.

Symon has not made an appearance, but- oh, there’s Piper! She laughs as one of the childlings hangs a flower garland over her small horns, and is set to play a sprightly spring tune for the kids to play to.

Brekke explains the game to Anne Marie, then waits their turn.

And soon it is their turn.

Lydia says "Here's a flower, Adam. Go give it to Piper!"

Lily, his sister , says "Don't help him, Lydia. He's bad enough as it is"

Brekke steps up on a large log and balances, preparing with the rope.

And Anne Marie gets on the box, and grabs the other rope side when ready
