a reminder of plans for fun

"True..."

"So, do we have everything set up?"

"Yeah... so.. well, maybe not ring the bell with Kerri being sick?" She's transferring the noodles to several large bowls.

"Oh, I'll spread word by text and manually for the old folk" She volunteers

Connor comes in from... lord, why is he all WET? It's much too cold to be in the lake - but he looks cheerful enough. Sniffing the air - it seems that his Dinner Bell is nose-based. "What's cooking? That's not pork chops."

"Spaghetti." Siv says "Ala Dagmar"

He looks confused. "But... it's pork chop night."

"Surprise Spaghetti!"

Drip, drip. A puddle forming beneath him as he ponders this. "Does it get shakey cheese?"

"Okay..wait.. umm no dripping, we need to not make a mess" Siv says "I'll get a towel"

"Shaky cheese AND garlic bread."

"Oh, I never NEED to make a mess. I just do anyways." He offers cheerfully, and his mouth drops open. "Can I make a sketti sammich with garlic bread?"

"Sure."

And Siv gets a towel, and comes back to dry the boy off

She makes it just in time, he was about to give a mighty shake and sprinkle the entire entryway - but instead is enveloped in a troll-sized towel.

Connor will try the spaghetti, and then gobble down a big messy sandwich. He proclaims it "Even better than pork chops", which does ding a little bit to her Gwydion-radar... but pork chops ARE mighty good... and she can tell he clearly enjoys it - and even has a second helping of sauce and bread.

Siv cleans up after Connor a lot, which turns out to be a task all on it's own, but she mutters "Still easier than Shuri"

And food is out for the rest of the Lodge... hopefully well-received, despite it's terribly mediocre quality in the House of Kerri.

But no one will starve.. and it's a real dinner, not cheerios!
