At some point, Dagmar appears with a bowl of ramen soup and a mug of tea with honey.

Olgar almost certainly doesn't let her get past the door, but Kerri croaks a thank you.

Olgar takes it. Between this and the DeBuke Stew, at least Kerri is geting the best cold remedies around..food wise.

Dagmar hears Gerd near the kitchen . Gerd got a crash course in Kitchen work and other things due to some bad behavior . Now that lesson has made her far more useful than Siv in some ways. "how's she doing? Any updates?"

"Not allowed in past the gate troll."

"Oh my god, Mr. Feminist is such a Nanny man" Gerd hurumphs, but it should be noted not loud enough where Olgar will hear it clearly

"Well, it was just ramen."

"Look, she's at the stage where she's lucky she tastes ANYTHING"

"I guess."

Gerd says "She'll be okay. She's tough" Assuring her, "And we got this."

"We got this." Agreed.

"Anyone here?" A boy's voice

"KITCHEN."

The Eshu, Malcolm comes in "hey. Can I have a soda?"

"Sure. They're in the fridge door."

"Thanks. Nasty spider web thing was like..super nasty"

Gerd says "Hey, spiders aren't bad. They eat flies."

"This one was trying to eat me." He pops the soda "Don't tell mom"

"Is it still outside?"

She looks for Flyswatter.

"Nope, I got pushed all the way here by Adam.. I mean, it's OUTSIDE, but ...like Dirk and Adam are two blocks away or something fighting it" A drink "Hogging the glory"

Gerd's eyes widen

"Yeah, you ain't fighting a monster kiddo."

She snags the halberd.

"That's not fair" Malcolm says

Gerd looks over at Dagmar "You able to go check alone? I dont' wanna leave the kitchen with no one while Kerri's down"

"I can go alone - I got Flyswatter!"

Gerd nods "Well then..."

The door opens "Hey, Malcolm still here?" Dirk's voice says

And ..Dirk is talking to someone outside too as he lets the cold in.

And then the door closes and Adam and Dirk come in.

Adam seems to have concerns about this course of action.

Brow furrow. "Monster dead?"

"Yup. " he shows an eyeball

Adam is dressed.... in voile..... as a highwayman. He's holding a tri-corner hat.

Both boys are covered in sweat, dust, cobwebs.. maybe a little blood.

The white shirt under his black coat -is- a bit grimy.

"...hunh. Okay then."

"Chief patched us up but wanted us to get a shower. What is it with girls and water?"

"Because you smell bad."

Adam lifts an arm and sniff, checking.

Yup.

Bit of stank

Dirk sniffs his own pitt "huh. Smells like victory"

"Well, still smells mostly like boy sweat and bodily fluids."

"Fine... " Dirk says "I'll hit the shower."

"I'll go home."
