"Oh. Sure." Another little crease between her brows.

"You two mad at each other or somethin?" Dirk scratches his head

"Uh. Good to see you, though." A small but charming smile.

"No! I'm not mad at Dagmar, not at all!"

"Not mad, no."

"Good." That smile again.

Dirk shrugs "Fine. "

"Just don't see you two hang around much no more is all used to it was 'hey dirk, leave Adam alone' and 'hey dirk, where's Dagmar?' and whatever. Feels wrong if I spend more time with him than you do, Dags"

Adam looks down, shrugs. "We've both been busy, right?"

"Yeah..." Shrug. "Busy."

"Whatever, you'r friends.. maybe exes, but friends. And One of you is good in a fight, the other needs to work on his backswing but doesn't suck. Stupid not to kill things together" HE heads to showers

"Mmph."

"Ok, so.... yeah. Good to see you, Dag." And he means it.

Shrug.

"Oh. Uh. Ok. See ya." And he turns to the door.

Frown.

"Right. Seeya."

And Adam heads home to clean up. How DO you get stains out of voile? Maybe his mom knows.....

Dag harrumphs, and goes off to do... troll stuff.

Gerd peeks out, and shakes her head "When Dirk's the one who senses baggage, it's like..airline cargo" And she goes back to do..troll stuff

Gerd quick silvers and sponges and cleans at rapid but exact pace.

The only music playing is playing softly, and is some of Kerri's favorite for relaxation.

And later, after all-hand-on-deck make sure things are spic-and-span (as best they can), Sylvi sits heavily at a table in the main hall, catching up on some homework.

"Hmmph." Dag grunts and drops down to sit in the chair next to Sylvi.

"Hey." A nod. "Thanks for doing so much. I know it's gonna make Mom feel better to know that stuff got taken care of."

"Well, apparently my sauce sucked. But nobody starved."

"Nope. And who says it sucked? It was...edible." Decisively.

"Lut and Tig."

She smirks. "Didn't see them volunteering to cook, so they can hush themselves."

She flips a page in her dictionary and copies down a definition for a word on a list.

"Seriously, you did fine."

"I guess..."

"Is your mom doing any better? Olgar wouldn't let me see her..." A note of worry.

A sigh as she flips a few more pages. "I guess? I tried to give her some tea with Spring magic, but it must've fizzled. Mom doesn't get sick often, but when she does, it's stubborn."

"Trolls are stubborn."

"Yeah, but she's, like, moreso. And of course Dad's all like...like in total guard-dog mode."

"Yeah."

"I don't really blame him. I think it's gotta be hard to get her to stay in bed." Sylvi sounds kind of proud of her ridiculous parents.

"Anything happen while I was doing the shopping run?"

"Dirk and Adam killed a monster."

"Here?!"

"Well, no - out there."

"Here, I woulda."

"Yeah," she grins. "They okay?"

"They seem to be."

"Adam went home."

"Well...I'm guessing Dirk did, too?" A little puzzled by the observation.

"Oh, yeah."

She stops working and looks at Dagmar.

"What?"
