Brekke settles herself in her customary chair, sighing. "Adam, come inside. Have you met Jessica? She is our elder daughter."

Adam steps forward as there is the sound of boots on the gravel path.....

The Chieftain accepts her coffee gratefully, if a bit awkwardly, with only the one working hand.

Emmit is feeling the area, then blinks "Okay, this whole thing is throwing my kenning off... it's like there's objects of power , new trods and... I'm not sure what else all here"

"mom, what happened to your silver hand?"

Siv gave the coffee but was lucky she didn't spill it in startlement

Jessica notices as well.

Adam finds a spot out of the way.

Frank opens the door with his foot and steps in, heading directly for Brekke......

Brekke raises the misshapen limb. "There was dragon fire." But much of the memory seems vague, given her expression.

Then Frank arrives, and she stands, setting her coffee aside to meet him.

Siv steps back, she has so many questions, but her folks? they NEED to be together and see each other and.. she smiles despite the hand

Olgar gets Adam a soda, without really making a deal about it

Kerri pauses in setting out food for the returning heroes and gets a pleased look as the Chieftain and her husband reunite. This is as it should be.

Adam seems startled by that, but.... takes it.

It's the sort he likes > Guess they keep it in stock

Frank scoops up Brekke, climbs the stairs, and they disappear.

The Hearth resumes making sure that everybody is settled and fed, and she starts making sleeping arrangements to accommodate all.

Jessica blinks. "Well. Ok then."

A brief sound of surprise from the Chieftain, but there's really no arguing with Frank when he's like this.

Siv blushes but beams

"Damn." a soft sound from the corner.

"It's ah.. well, they'll be a bit and huhm " Siv coughs

Kerri chuckles. "All is well with the world, I think."

Olgar looks at his wife, "Looks like you're in charge for just a bit longer"

Emmit whistles "Okay, Anvil, Sword.. an Acorn ?" The other mountain has gone nosing around!

"I can manage," she smiles back at Olgar, and gives him a brief kiss. "Now...who among you need healing?"

"Mm, there are other treasures as well, Emmit. The wilders seem to have gotten quite a haul out of saving our lives."

Arthek says "The old Mountain seems to forget he's lost an eye. Might want to see if it can salvaged. Me? I'm.. probably the best looking of the lot"

"An eye? Oh,Emmit. I think that's beyond what I can do. But let me see if I can get Sylvi back. She and Colton went for a walk." The glance she shoots at her husband speaks volumes.

Olgar looks back at his wife as if to point out he deserves a reward seeing as the boy can walk at all

Then he sighs resigned

"Let me send her a message..." And she goes out into the kitchen to send a text.

Siv moves to Adam, "How'd it go, Adam?"

Jessica takes a breath. "Ok, so.... good to know it seems everyone is ok?"

Olgar nods to Jessica, "You okay, Jess? This had to be a shock having a trod pop up in you home terf?"

"Um. Yes, well.... yeah, it was. But....good to be here."

"Your dad may have gone off in a rush, but he's been missing you. Now what's this about you being a countesss? I thought I taught you how to duck better than that?"

"Believe me, Olgar, I tried...."

"Well, My wife got ambushed as you know... so it happens to good people." Olgar says

Jessica nods. "Going to have to make the best of it."

"Yeah, look, I've tried not to get into your biz..." Olgar says "But with the trod link being so direct... is okay if I send a few local rovers to your area?"

Kerri comes back in. "She's on her way." And there's more food available...roast meats and fresh breads and cheese and ale.

"Yes, of course. And thank you."

And Sylvi does indeed hurry in. "Mountain Emmit, Hearth Arthek...wait...where's the Chieftain?" A moment of alarm.

"No prob... some of the boys need to get used to different dreaming areas anyway... I swear this generation of Knights of the Way think one goat free bridge is the same as any other"

Arthek looks at Sylvi, "In Conference with Mountain Frank." OOC : Just seeing if you were paying attention
