"I can still put in a word with some Beumayn recruiters" Vali says

She shakes her head. "Not exactly. I think it was the Accordance War? From what Frank taught me, I'd guess... but it's.. fuzzy."

Siv says "i'm game, what can House Beaumayn do for me?" siv says cheekily

"No poaching, Sir Vali," Brekke warns good naturedly. Then an eyebrow at Siv.

Siv looks at her mother with a smile, then.. a curious look

"You guys eaten yet? I'm starved.... "

Olgar has a burger, Klump has a hotdog

"Oh right.. " siv steps out of her way

"I'm getting a plate for you if you want, Sylvi" Colton says

"Thanks." Sylvi gives Colton a grateful smile, then looks like she wants to ask something else of Dagmar...then apparently decides it can wait.

Brekke is helping herself to some food as well, but does catch the expression on Siv's face. "Yes?"

Dagmar seeks her hoped-for TWO cheeseburgers and a hot dog. And oh, potato chips! (On the hot dog.)

"Nothing just.. well now's not the time" Siv says but smiles to let her mom know whatever is on her mind it can wait

Nadeen cringes at the potato chips ON the hotdog "Becoming a knight has not refined your palate"

Gonzalez munches her own chip dog "She don't know better, forget her, Dagmar"

Kerri has brought Symon a plate of food fit for his tastes, understanding that he'll likely want to stay in the periphery.

Frank let the girl get some food in her, then approaches Dagmar to offer an embrace. "Niece."

"You could try it, Nadeen."

Surprise, delight. "Uncle!"

"Yeah, he's your uncle... that's kind of what cousin means. YOu can borrow dad now and then, but any truck rides where he needs a tailgunner? I call dibs on" Siv calls out to Dagmar

"Noted!"

Brekke chuckles slightly, then nods. "That makes me your aunt. But I hope you will forgive me that I still prefer Chieftain."

"I think I'm going to expand my palatte," Kerri says, and prepares a hotdog a la Dagmar, and crunches into it.

"That's fine by me, Chief."

"...tain..."

Vali smirks

An eyebrow at Kerri, and when she doesn't keel over, Brekke follows suit and tries a chip-dog.

Nadeen sighs and does her best to look above the corruption

Kerri declares the food to be quite edible.

Lupita says "i'm sorry but I just can't stop staring at you all."

"It's a whole lotta blue, I know."

"Not everywhere is mostly trolls. Though I guess you know what it is to wake up giant?"

That makes Brekke chuckle again. "Yes...the enchanted often have that reaction."

Sylvi asks, "Do we look like what you thought we would?"

"Well, not one of you has those little gossamr wings, so kind of a disappoint there" Lupita says good naturedly

"Oh, Sparrow has wings - she's like the Namer and Nadeen, too pretty to look at."

"Thank you," Lady Falconeye says "Though, my job here is done, and the food is excellent, I should probably leave this to family and friends."

"Let me bring you back to Caer Falken, Lady," Brekke offers, finishing her food. "Rivervale thanks you for your great service here this night."

Dagmar steps aside to see the Namer. "Thank you, again."

"You are welcome, Dame Dagmar. It was my pleasure, and not just because I have seen return of another House sister" She curtseys

She falters slightly, performing a gesture somewhere between a bow and a curtsey. Courtly stylings... might not be a strong point yet.

Brekke moves aside for a moment, then returns with a hand-carved wooden goblet, sidhe-proportioned, with a falcon carved on one side. "Please accept this, the work of my hands, as thanks for your service here."

"Baroness, this is... lovely. Are you sure? It was but my duty" Lady Falconeye cannot hide her interest in the fine work

"Very certain."

"Well, then, Beauty is life... who am I to neglect the wisdom of the Seelie code, I thank you, Baroness. " She takes it and holds it, then looks about "I see much joy here, and much to be proud of. I have nevered envied trolls before. Truly, I see now i have reason to, as long as that troll be of Rivervale"

Brekke bows her head respectfully at the compliment, then escorts the Namer to the door to begin the trip back to Caer Falken.

Frank makes his manners to the Namer as well.

"A pleasure, Sir Franklyn.." And off she goes.
