It's Zane, "Hey... sorry I dcouldn't get here before now. Gift from the Wayburtons to the name girl"

Sylvi almost got the door, but Frank got there first.

"Come on in."

“Sir Vali doesn’t think so. And knights know best.” He peeks around the blue wall and gives Zane a nod.

"Owwww. Sy, that was Vali turf..."

"Hi Zane! There's food!"

Is there still food? He wonders, with Dirk around.

There is something in a dish that looks sluagh specific. Nadeen refuses to look at it so it must be good

Zane comes in..."Hey! Gift" He hands it to her "What's with the knight spurs? and the Gwydion get up?"

"Okay, Zane, remember what our teachers say about making inferences from incomplete data?" Sylvi prods with a grin.

"yes..well, I would but I never listen through it all" Zane says

"So, uh, I have a house?"

"Yeah, nice one, " Zane says "Dutch farmhouse style. Got that balcony "

An almost inaudible snort.

"Wow...." Sylvi grins.

The Wayburtons gift is .. a book.. a large one! It's a book of mythology, but hand scribed, in gold looking ink

"Oh, wow..."

Symon looks interested in that! Craning forward to get good look. New, or aged?

He shoves his hands in his pockets to avoid reaching towards it like a babe clinging at a sweet. He’s a NEW AGE sluagh, damnit, he doesn’t need no books... but it IS nice....

"It's ah, Greek myths. I told them you liked Thor, and Dad thought you needed the Greek side of stories... we got this scribe to do it..."

"Sorry, I know you prefer nordic. Hercules is pretty cool though."

"No, it's cool! I don't know the greek stuff super well, but I like Wonder Woman, too..."

“Zeus is pretty satyric as well. After all, he did screw everything he saw.” Pragmatically, but this is scantly whispered so as not to incur grumpish wrath if the wee ones were t overhear and repeat.

"Symon, you wanna see?" She offers the book out to him.

“Uh, sure.” He says offhandedly, as though he wasn’t eyeing it like Sméagol. Accepting and carefully wiping his fingers of any grease before turning a delicate page.

"Well, yeah... Pan doesn't get that much credit..mostly he scares folks who wake him"

Frank carefully doesn't hear.

"There's a movie about Pan, too - haven't seen it, but it's by the Hellboy guy."

"Have you seen Hellboy? He's cool..."

"I saw it" A grin

Jaymes grunts but pretends he didn't either

"Still, Zane, thanks for the book and tell your folks thanks but get food too?"

"Sorry, were you saying something?"zane says turning around with a plate with two hotdogs

then he grins

"Okay, you're set."

Nadeen walks by, grabs his extra hot dog, and takes a slow bite, savors, makes a happy sound, and walks off. A bit of swish in her hips.
