Dagmar dreamt while she slept, the more she dreamed, the more vague it grew. Not like it was going away, but like the dreams were mortar, slipping between the bricks of her, before drying again.... stronger even if more spread out.

She wakes, frustrated, grasping... tey felt so clear before her eyes opened...

"Mrow"

Odin would like her to know that just because she's sained doesn't mean she's free of her food provider obligations

"I know, I know, breakfast. You're gonna get fat."

She scoops up the tom and sets him on her shoulder.

He settles and supervises

She tromps downstairs, barefoot, and balances Odin's perch.

"Morning," Tove says working at breakfast "how are things for Dame Dagmar aka Sam King?"

"Pretty good." A grin.

"Ok, lardo, down you go. I'll get your food..." She encourages the cat to hop down.

"Mm... is he gaining weight ?" Tove says

"Yup. Gonna have to go on a diet."

She snags a can of gooshyfood from the cupboard. Odin lets her know she is too slow - meowing and snaking around her ankles.

"Okay, I'll get some of that low calorie catfood" She says

"Maybe we could try half a can? Dunno..."

She sniffs. "Whatcha makin?"

"Bacon, eggs, and a touch of Sausage..."

A couple of peppers are thrown in

"Smells great."

"This was a good weekend." She declares as she moves on from Odin-feeding to table-setting.

"Hopefully it will taste better" Tove smiles "What will you do with your day off? Besides homework, of course"

"Uhhhg. Homework."

"Yup" A voice from behind them "Remember we knew it couldn't be done Sainday so it would be today" Jaymes approaches

"I kno-ow." Teenage two-syllable whine.

"Good. " He nods "I looked up some rules. Apparently fathers are supposed to encourage homework"

"Well, I don't have that much. Math."

"you're not skipping biology projects again? " Her dad asks

"...I have reading..." Sigh.

"Okay, reading and math..not too bad." he says "Breakfast before both. " A sniff "Smells nice, tove"

"Thank you, Kerri and Sally Mae keep giving me tips"

"Not like you need them."

"Nice of you to say" She says.

"Not nice, it's the truth. You're my favorite cook."

"And as a Gwydion, I think I have to be anti-pooka now. What happens when a Gwydion lies, do you think?"

"You give yourself a headache maybe?" Her father says "Have to ask the Chief"

"Right."

"Gwydion lessons."

"It's so strange to me," Tove admits, "Your name comes with a knighthood AND a House."

"Oh..." A frown and a fidget. "I mean, I wasn't expecting it, but..."

"Is it rare?"

Tove notices the fidget "i'm not sure how rare it is. And it doesn't matter it is is. I always knew you were special"

"But there's lot of troll knights, right?"

Jaymes nods "Yes. If you went looking for kithain with titles, Sidhe would have a hug lead, but second would be trolls"

"Didn't trolls help lead while the sidhe were away?"

"That's a lot more complicated" Tove sighs "Some trolls tried to lead, but depending on who you ask, things were either a pretty peaceful mix or a lot of fighting among ourselves. the truth that is known is that many of the holds were lost, or would not wake up again before the resurgence."

"That sucks."

"...Klump called Nadeen a Baroness."

"Interesting. I wonder if Klump knows more from the old days than he lets on?" Tove says laying food out

"Well, he's a very old rock."
