"I'm grateful for what he tried to do on your behalf" Jaymes says

"I'm..." A frown. "I should be. But..."

"But?" Tove says

"I'm... mad. I'm mad he... he felt he had to?"

She rubs the back of her neck. "He's my friend. And he shouldn't... I think maybe it's my fault he felt he had to?"

"You can't control what others do, and you're not responsible for others choices" Jaymes says

"But..." A frown.

"Well, I'm not gonna say I regret having it gone. I'll still protect her until she's sained. That only seems right."

"What seems right is the best anyone can do, and it's hard work." Jaymes nods

"I was happy when I took the oath. That Dagmar."

"I'm still rather happy."

"About it, I mean" Jaymes says. And shrugs. It's a fact

"That Oath, yes!"

She grins. "I knew it was magic."

"Yup." He smiles, "You were right all along."

"Of course I was." She aims for prim, but she's grinning too much.

Tove laughs at that

Jaymes grunts, but she can tell by his eyes he found it funny

"How much will Gonzales remember, do you think?"

"She's not as banal as your average human...might be less like a dream and more like a movie she saw a long time ago when she was little." Jaymes says

"I'm glad she knows. I mean, I know what SHE looks like."

"I know, but remember, not all Garou are our friends."

"True, but she is. Though she said something about me being a Silver Fang. I told her Gwydions were gold."

"Huh, well, not sure what the connection is but yeah"

"I think it's like a werewolf house."

"I didn't even know they had Houses, well, like Sidhe houses. I didn't think they lived in caves" Tove says

Dag almost spits out her eggs when she laughs. "Tove!"

"Dens, I think they're called dens" Jaymes says somberly.

"Well, Lupe's tribe sounds cool. They're, like, man on the street. Wolf on the street?"

"Mutts and proud of it, so she says " Jaymes comments

"Well, mutts are the best dogs. Look at Brown Dog and TwoBit."

"I agree" He says , bending down to pet Twobit

A happy sigh, content. Even with math homework to do.

Odin rubs against her legs.

"Well, no cat is ever a mutt."

Tove grins

Odin sniffs

She reaches down to pet the cat.

Soon very opinionated purring

A soft chuckle. "Dumb cat." All affection.

"LOUD cat, purs like a motorboat" Tove says fonldy

"Like a helicopter!"

There's a knock on her door.

She shoots up. "I got it!"

And thunders off to answer.

May and Lupita are at the door "Hey"

"Hey!"

"Hey, you want to hang? " May asks, but she tilts her head as if trying to imagine what people would look like even taller

"Totally!" A look back. "Uh... I do have math homework left..."
