Gerd cheers "YES! FINALLY, she can stop moping and pacing!"

She impulsively hugs Jaymes - nt the most comfortable thing, given the steel plate...

Sylvi laughs at Gerd's comment, and even Brekke chuckles.

Jaymes doesn't care about the steel plate, he gives a squeeze "It's a good oath. Now, you want some hotdogs and hamburgers right?"

"She better, we got enough to feed the town again" Olgar mutters

"I think I want to get out of armor and then, like, two cheeseburgers and one hot dog?"

"Don't give the town ideas, Olgar," Kerri says with a grin.

Then the Hearth turns to Nadeen. "Would you come with me to the kitchen for a moment?"

"Of course, Dame Kerri" Nadeen inclines her head and follows

Tove smiles "I have a change of clothes for you in a duffle bag if you like. "

That to Dagmar, of course

"Thanks Tove. Can you help me with the shoulders?"

"Absolutely." She turns to her father, "Dad, a little music while they wait?"

Torad Torin grins "Of course."

Kerri leads Nadeen to the kitchen. "I wanted to give you a chance for a moment to yourself if you need it. But I also wanted to say...that was an enormously brave and selfless thing you did in there. Don't think it's gone overlooked."

Nadeen looks away "Are you sure I didn't do it because a debt from a Chieftain and the good will of an entire lodge is worth a great deal? I would hope I did it for that reason, or I was very foolish for the sake of sentimentality. "

Kerri grins, and then nods slowly. "I see. I must have been mistaken. Let me instead praise you for your shrewd strategy."

"At any rate...I don't know if you're a fan of cheeseburgers and hotdogs. If you'd prefer something different, I can manage it."

Meanwhile, Dagmar is off switching from armor to her viking voile - less flash and MUCH more comfortable. After a moment of consideration, she included the gwydion tabard over the ensemble.

Sylvi is breathing a sigh of relief as she speaks with Colton. "...and I can't believe Nadeen released her. Didn't see that coming. But wasn't the oath amazing!"

"No no, these are fine, " Nadeen says "Thank you, Hearth. Let me help you carry them out"

Colton says "yeah, it was. " He ponders "And Nadeen may regret that choice. I'm glad she did it though"

"Oh, would you take those? I need to set out a selection for Symon." Kerri sends Nadeen back into the main room with a tray and sets to work on sluagh-food.

TOve says "Green and gold look good on you"

"Yes, best I'm not here for that part" Nadeen says and heads out with the tray of non sluagh goodies

Sylvi shakes her head. "I don't think she'll regret it. I mean, it's not like...." But then Nadeen is back and she stops.

"...I sort of thought maybe I was gonna be a Varich..."

Klump nods to Nadeen, "May I have a hotdog? I have never tried one"

"Oh, of course, they're for everone" Nadeen says

"Do you eat meat, Klump?" Brekke asks.

"Now and then, but I don't NEED to" he rumbles

And Tove says "Well, Black and gold would be okay, but green and gold looks better on you . Ready?"

"Mm." Brekke nods. "I have learned something, then."

She nods. "Ready. I think I saw a keg of Dr. Pepper..."

"There is much about the House and Nature spirits to learn" Nadeen says to Brekke "My House knows them best as a whole, but there is much I lack myself"

Tove nods "You did. And it toally did not involve Olgar and a straw"

"Perhaps we could both learn more, then," Brekke nods.

"Oh god, is it full of Olgar spit?"

"It's not," Tove says "Vali was just teasing. Mmm he'll have to work harder at it if you can tell when he's fibbing for fun"

The newest Gwydion heads back into the party at Tove's side.

Jaymes has been enjoying himself by being stoic again, but his face does smile a bit as his daughter, his DAUGHTER returns

She comes down just as Brekke has turned to Jaymes to congratulate him on his new fatherhood.

"Thank you CHief, it's very..." And that smile

"Yes," she agrees, relieving him of the need to finish the thought in words.

Sylvi seems almost a bit hesitant as she goes to meet Dagmar at the bottom of the stairs. "So...how's it feel?" she asks.

"It... good? Like, it's a LOT. But.. the Oath feels good."

Siv grins and is far less hesitant, "So, cousin twice over... there is no escape now. mwhahhwhaa"

"Yeah..." Sylvi says, nodding. "And...being in a House. I bet that feels different, too."

She rubs her sternum, at the heart of the falcon. "Different, yeah. Like... I don't... I never thought much about Gwydion? Just how the Chief is..."
