Sam nods and collects the dishes. "Whatever happens, though - you got me, right?"

"Thanks, Sam. " She says "I... normally I'd go to my family, you know? Brothers are annoying but they'r on my side, but if ican't tell them I don't want to risk them"

She nods. "Yeah. When I changed, I was with my old foster parents. I couldn't tell them."

"And, well - the others like me, I didn't know if I could trust them, either... but... they knew what was happening, and they helped."

"Siv is one isnt she? And Sylvi...that's why you up with Sylvi when she was all 'look at me, look at me' "

A sigh. "Yeah, Sylvi was having a... thing. She's better now."

"Good to hear it. She's.. cool, most of the time, except when she's all mirror fixed..then she's a pain. Sorry, but that's how i see her. Siv is? I don't know, older girl... and NICE... but sometimees it's like she's from another planet."

A shrug. "She basically is."

"Nother thing you can't talkk about ?"

"Until I check, yeah."

"Ha! Wouldn't it be funny if there were wolves that had people inside?"

"It's cool." Then a laugh "Oh yeah, Were humans. Poor guys...can you imagine? My fur's gone. I'm freezin!"

Sam chuckles at the image.

"Why is that nude dude in the zoo cage? "

"That'd be a hoot."

"Wolves in Jersey, I don't ...hard to even imagine"

"Maybe in the Pine Barrens? Lots of weird stuff there."

"Yeah. I guess..."

"But they said there are local ones, too. A... shit, what did she call it? A group."

"So - that should mean you get to stick around." A pause. "You think any of your brothers are secret werewolves? Or - ha! Your abuela?"

Her eyes widen "Holy shit, that would.. blow my mind"

"Boom, Weregranny is gonna get you with LA CHANCLA!" She mimes waving a slipper. "Rar."

"I mean..what's next? Ghosts?"

"Do they sparkle?" Smirk

"Come on Chica, I can only accept so much"

"Thank god no guys are here to hear you say it that way. We'd have to punch them"

"I was a lousy date" She says "I mean, he even wore a tie"

"He did. You had, y'know, shit going on."

"And I could have killed him. I mean, it's not like he stood me up. You only kill the guy if he stands you up or gets handsy"

"And you were trying real hard not to hurt me, and trying not to hurt anyone."

"I think.. I think iif you had lost your grip I might have. I might have killed even you. " A shudder

"But you didn't." Stubborn and loyal.

"Do you know how much worse that makes it?"

She frowns. "Sort of. But you are gonna get help, and then the anger won't get so twisted up. Rage messes up your head, then you hate yourself for feeling like that."

"I..yeah" She takes a slightly defensive position, hands across herself

"You feel like a terrible person because of what gets in your head when you are mad. But it's... anger talking, not any other part."
