She whispers "Last night wasa blur but...whateveer I am, you were with me at my worst. Kept me from doing worst"

She glances at Jaymes, then back. "You.. uh.. wanna talk about it?"

"But you are my friend, so of course I'm gonna be there."

Jaymes gets up, "I need to get a few things done out back" A nod to her.. and he gives them room

"Thanks, sir" She says grateful for the space, then says quietly "yeah I guess"

"I got a scary temper, too - all I wanna do is break stuff, like, it's too big to let out any other way. But... I'm pretty strong." A pause. "Um. Stronger than you think."

"So... other people, they've helped me, made sure I don't hurt anybody when I lose control."

"I remember rage," She says "I remember seeing everyone as ...dirty unworthy of life....I ...was so angry at the way things were but I didn't udnderstand.. don't still."

"Well... I don't know exactly what is happening to you. Kerri says there's others, though. Ones that are the same. So - you aren't just, you know, white bread. You're something else, too. And realizing you are something else is... weird. Scary, and weird, and it feels like everything is chaos... but, well. It gets normal sooner than you think."

"Like, this is how it is - you know?"

"Yeah?" She sees a fear in Lupita's eyes, one the girl has been reluctant to admit.

"It..gets better?"

She nods. "When... when I found out I was different, I freaked out. But it also... I mean, there was part of me that knew I was, you know? And so... it's easier, I guess. Knowing for sure, instead of feeling like there's some missing part."

"I'm not like you, I don't think. You have a wolf inside. Which, y'know, is bad-ass."

"The wolf almost killed my best friends" She says a deep breath "if I had killed you, or MAY. I'd hate himself"

"But you didn't."

"Only becuse you somehow stopped me. "

"And so, well, we'll find the other wolves and they'll teach you how it works."

"Sleeper hold. Totally stuck on you like a tick." She grins.

"So..you're differeent too, you have to be, but how?"

"I... I don't know how much I'm allowed to tell?"

"I don't know the rules for werewolves..."

"It's cool. Maybe the..other werewolves will be able to tel lme so you don't get in trouble?"

A grin. "Maybe! I bet - oh, I bet they got stories about us, like - you know how there's Twilight werewolves and bitten.. say, were you bitten?... or, like, mad science werewolves..."

"I don't remember a wolf ever biting me" She smirks "or meeting a guy in a lab coat"

"So maybe you were just born that way." An easy shrug.

"Like, puberty from hell."

"Yeah, I guess" She says "Like yeah"

A grin "Kind of like your comic book group..the Q Men or whatever?

"X men."

"Whatever" She shrugs "Maybe its like that?"

"Kinda sorta. But that's why you can't tell, you know? Because people freak out, or they'd put you in a lab or a looney bin."

"I hear that" She agrees, "I.. wwill we be allowed to be friends after this you think I mean..wolves and ..whatever you are?"

"Oh, if they think we can't be friends... screw them. That's some kind of bullshit."

"Ha" A grin

"And YOU aren't a muggle, you're special too, so shouldn't the rules be different?"

"You got a point. " She firstbumps "Since when do we put up with bullshit?"

"We don't!"

"Oh crap. Poor, May. We're going to have to keep her out of the loop, wont' we?"

"JAYMES, I know you're in the chair! We can be friends with werewolves, right?" She hollers.

"Well, yeah. Punch was spiked, everybody saw crazy stuff, someone pulled the alarm."

"I think he's out back like he said" She says, "Also...I know we have a cover. I just feel bad we can't tell May .like ever"

She shrugs. "It's to protect her, too."

"Yeah. Honestly, if she and Jimmy get serious and he breaks her heart I am SO seeing if he fits in a locker"
