"Yeah, but fishing and garage creating? we can do that in the next week"

"I was wondering, are spices really expensive?"

"Depends o nthe spice, sojme of them are cheap ...and some you can grow"

"Not before Christmas..."

"Well, what do you have in ..oh, you want to buy some for Tove?" A smile

"I was thinking? I made her a spice rack in class."

"And then she'd have everything she needed in one place."

"I like that. I'm sure we can swing it, at least a few of them" He says

"Maybe some nice empty bottles? Ones she can label? You think maybe Kerri has dried ones?"

"Doesn't hurt to ask her" He nods

"That might be a plan. Cheaper."

"Sure. Don't forget, kithian also barter. One changeling might be good at this, the other that, and so they trade instead of money"

"So if you think you want to make a deal, chores or the like for goods , no shame in that"

"That could work...."

"And if you need cash, but want it to be from me, letm ek now, I might have some exra chores"

"I gotta work out your allowance anyway"

"I mean, is that okay though? Because then you are kind of buying your own present..."

"Well, if it doesn't bother you then it doesn't bother me, becausse you're still Earning the money. I mean, it's not my money when you buy it. It's yours, earned fair and square"

"Well, ok! Then I'll need chores."

"I'll get a list of extras I need" he says "Some of it will be dull" He warns

"Worse than precision drills?"

A grin "Maybe AS much, probably not worse, and most won't be that bad"

Tove comes in

"Well, I can handle a lot of stuff."

"Dad's fine. Racer is cold, but the new sweater helps" Tove says "All well here?"

"Sure," Jaymes nods "Learned someone doesn't like precision drills"

"Ah" Tove says, a quick glance to Dagmar

A giggle. "I wanna see the dog sweater. Maybe Peach will need one, too..."

"I'd show it to you but he's wearing it" She grins "And yes, Peach definitely" She smiles back "Think Odin would like one?"

"He HAS fur..."

"I think she's defending her cat's dignity" Jaymes says. To his mind it's no question on who Odin has claimed and vice versa

"Odin is very dignified."

"Peach, I mean, she loves just anybody, and plus, you can see her butt."

"Okay, I'll get Peach one... if Anne Marie hasn't beaten me to it. Mmm how about Two bit? I have some pink material left over I can make into a..."

Tove catches on "IT's for the dog, not you. What's wrong with pink?"

"Pink is for girls."

"Twobit is a girl" she says

"Yeah, but still...hasn't she got enough trouble proving her badassery?" Jaymes says

"oh you two, really" Tove says "Fine..what do you want it to be? Blood red with black flames?"
