"mew?" Odin says susiciopus. How can two leggers miss what he sees? Very well, pet him, head upstairs, and tell him about it. he understands the need to vent. Or shower, but he's not going into the rainforest trap! not again

"It does, but hey, he's no whiner our Jaymes"

"He ain't. Be down in a bit...." She tromps upstairs, carrying the cat - but he is released before she enters the Room of Wet.

Coco is waiting for Dagmar, "Here you go" Tove hands it over. "Siv okay? She seemed tense"

Dagmar grunts. "She's having a tough time at practice. One girl on the team is a bitch, and her mom is worse."

"Sorry to hear that." She says "Sometimes the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and the tree is rotten"

"Bad blood, yeah..."

"Oh, that doesn't mean that someone with a bad tree can't escape that shadow." She says "SOmetimes angels have brats, and monsters can have decent kids. It's just hard to resist influence" She sips her own coco, "I hope Siv is talking to her mom about it?"

Curious look at the girl "It's better to talk sometimes than hide"

"Dunno bout that."

"... this is good cocoa. Do you make it like Kerri does? From milk?"

"This time I did, it does taste better that way doesnt it? But i do tend to cheat with instant when I'm in a rush." A pause "you said battle practice was fine? how did it go?"

"I only ever had the powder before here."

"I don't like precision drills. Just tapping at the same spot again and again."

"Oh yeah, that can get dull, but it does help. Jaymes could swat a hummingbird out of the air...not that he would. Who was in on practice? Just you and Siv?"

"And Sylvi and Not-Tanya."

"Vali was leading it."

"I thought you were calling her Nadeen now? Did she say something to upset you?"

A frown "Maybe i need to talk to Nadeen if she's not going to behave"

"Do I have to call her that here, too?"

"I think you should, but you're not answering my question, did she say something to upset you?"

"No."

"Okay, " She says "And to answer your qustion, I think you should call her Nadeen as she agreed to the switch, but I'm not going to fuss at you about it if you don't..well, I'll try not to. Fair?" A sip of her own coco

"Fair."

"It's still weird seeing her."

"It is," she says "Trust me, I don't much like sidhe. Have to remind myself some are good, and some are"

"She doesn't like Symon."

"No, and that's her loss, because when push comes to shove, he's been a grand friend to the lodge. Mmmm" a thought "maybe I can help in a way after all?"

"How?"

"Songs, stories, I could find some, or create one, about not letting the hatred of her fathers pass through her. Even if she doesn't think it's a song to her, lessons of tolerence and the like won't hurt now will they?"

"I think she likes music."

"I'll work on it. Now, what happened at the practice that you don't want to tell me about?"

She tries to smoothly transition so Dagmar will answer before remembering she doesnt' want to. WIll it work? Mmm

"The stupid boys." Scowl at the cocoa.

"Which boys?" Curious "I didn't think Dirk was there"

Might be rude to jump to Dirk when stupid and boy come up but hey, she's worrying about Dagmar, not the redcap

"Not Dirk."

"Okay. Which boys?" a sip
