Tanya shoots a look at Dagmar "Could you please stop calling me 'not Tanya'. "

"You aren't Tanya."

"I am now" She says "Just as you are still Sam at school"

A purr, and a shadow slinks to rub against Dagmar’s legs, twining around them.

"Hey there." She bends down to offer Lovecraft her due pettin's.

"We aren't at school, so you're not-Tanya here."

Dirk is walking , wwell, limping away

WIth a cat in HIS hands.

"Don't knock down any more trees!"

"I am not 'Not Tanya'" Tanya hisses "You told me to ask if I wanted something then when I do you ignore it. You're such a ..a bitch. No wonder Tanya the mortal was happy to leave. She probably thought any days of school with you would be maddening"

She glares. "She was NOT. You don't know that!"

She mrowls up to Dagmar. “Is not Tanya. Good name.” The way the cat purrs it, the words slur together to sound like ‘Natanya’. “But mine say, not deserve it. Mine say, name bitc-“

A hiss from off the path. “Not helping! shush!”

"You just tell yourself that to make you feel better."

"I Know more about it than YOU," Tanya says and then glares at Lovecraft "Lovely. This is how good deeds are rewarded here I see."

Then she turns at the hiss and starts to reach for her sword hilt

"Don't. You. Dare."

He moves into view on the path, hands held up in defense- or to show empty? “Hey, I was just seeing what the fuss was about. Lovecraft said Scrote was upset.”

"Or what?" Tanya says "You'll call me Not Tanya again? NOt like you'll stop"

“There are worse names. At least it sounds Russian.” He looks tempted to suggest the names, but behaves.

"Or you'll see." Chin jut.

He edges up the path towards Dagmar, ready to stop and retreat if the sword sings out. A whisper to her- “why’s she still here? Aren’t they going to ship her off to be fostered by some high and mighty nobility?”

"No. She's staying here. Which... which, hey - Not-Tanya, you know what you really owe? Ain't me you owe. It's the Browns. You stole their daughter, just when they made it official."

"You want to be "Tanya," then you gotta be the best damn Tanya you can."

"Oh yes, you are such a great respecter of fathers" she tosses her head

Dagmar growls, then... that sudden queasy look.

"You don't know anything about me."

She seems to be ignoring Symon, perhaps because she was told not to say anything mean to him

“At least she knows who hers is.” He can’t help but remark snidely, but cuts off as Dagmar looks ill. “Hey, did you eat the wrong muffins?”

"I know more than you think, or did you think I had none of the mortal Tanya's memories? "

She shakes her head at Symon's question.

"Tanya didn't know anything, neither. She was too busy being perfect."

"SHE remembered you. She remembered offering you kindness, and you mocked her. She remembered trying to help you, and you sneered at her. She knew you very well, and I'm learning it too from those memories. You, Bitchmar, are an ingrateful snot nosed hypocrite. You only care about people so you don't feel bad about yourself."

Symon hears someone arriving

He taps Dagmar on the arm and turns to look in that direction.

She's still ashy pale beneath the blue. "Shut up."

"Or what? you'll insult my father? well, you won't undo that... you'll call me something I don't want to be called AGAIN? " Tanya says "Or maybe have your sluagh friend make sly whispers either himself or through his cat I..."

He snaps his fingers a few times and points, rather than try to be heard above the arguing.

"SHUT UP!" She bellows. "Shut up, I hate you and I hate him!"

And now he flinched away from Dagmar, unintentionally.

The clearing of a very tall throat, and the Chieftain is now overlooking the conflict with a frown.

"Then stop tormenting me everytime I..." THen the varich hears the throat clear

ANd turns and bows

There is a tree, once, it was over 20 feet tall. It is now fallen

As soon as all the shouting stops, she says, "What is happening here?"

A definite frown at the fallen tree.

Dagmar looks up - chin set out at a defiant angle, hands in white-knuckled fists, but pale beneath the blue.

"She keeps callling me 'Not Tanya' even when I said please and asked her not to" Tanya says

An eyebrow at the sidhe. "Indeed. And...does that explain the tree?"

“Twinkletoes wanted more fiber in his diet.” He remarks, daring only to comment on the caps new shoes outside of said redcaps presence.

"Oh that. The redcap was trapped under it. I went to get Dagmar's help lifting the tree off him"
