Vali, his face covered in sweat from a hard run has arrived with weapon ready

Only to look around "Mountain Emmit? Huh. Uhm... I Heard a bang?"

"Hey Vali..." A weak smile through her teenage misery.

"Hey" Vali says "Uhm.. did something attack here?"

"Oh no, that was just an old man showing off a bit of magic" Emmit says "Sorry"

"No harm I guess, we're a bit jumpy, Lots of Chimera around stirred up" Vali explains.

"Like with me?"

"YEah, dream dances sometimes do that, " Vali says "These have a Russian flare. I'm keeping one of them"

"Are the Varich from Russia?"

"yeah, but so are a large chunk of the sluagh dreams ... so don't let them tell you that all the good slavic stuff is varich alone. It would make the sluagh cranky."

"Any trolls? I mean, norse stuff is close, right?"

"Oh sure, slavic and nordic clashed and merged as well..." Vali says "In fact, the creation of Russia began with Viking adventurer-traders who opened up trade routes beginning around A.D. 800 on the great Russian rivers like the Dnieper and the Volga between the Baltic, Black and Caspian Seas."

Emmit nods "I've met Slavic families of trolls. More likely to call on Perun than Thor"

For that matter, maybe you're of the north but moved south . In your many differnt lives, you've probably been in dozens of countries" Vali says

"WIsh I could remember those."

"When you get sained you might find a few flashes of them" Emmit says "And if you don't? After you're sained, you see me, and I'll show you some magic that gives you glimpses. "

"I envy that" Siv says "I've just got what I got, but you were part of history"

"You don't know that, Siv - maybe there's a way to figure it out? I mean, for next time?"

"I'm not a changeling" She reminds "One life, started recent. Mind you it was on the seas of the dreaming but... mm"

"But I mean - you don't know if you are one and done."

"Mountain, you're not trying to recruit our youngsters again wtih DeBuke resources are you?" Vali says to the old man

THe Mountain smirks "Would I try to lure your folks to the farm where we could use their strength and skills? Perish the thought" Then a beat "Besides. your Chieftain doesn't want to give ANY of you up and told me so"

Siv beams at that, despite the talk of her mortality

Then she says "I.. I don't know enough to..."

"Well, so? That's why you quest. Like in the stories Tove tells."

"Maybe there's a treasure, or a powerful old chimera, or some Mad Rover who knows a ritual?"

"We want a mad Rover, say something miscoygnistic near Olgar" Vali suggests with a smirk

"I ain't stupid."

Vali raises a brow "I didn't say you were, nor did I imply it. I tell bad puns and jokes, that's what I do. Try not to take it personally."

Siv is looking thoughtful, "Ye might be onto something there, Dagmar. A bout a quest i mean"

"Right, see? And I can go in just five months. Not that I'm counting."

Siv grins "So you're saying I could quest, but you'd prefer I hold it off for.. oh 5 months?"

"instead of going on me own?"

Emmit coughs "Safety in numbers"

"Well, I mean, obviously, you need to wait for summer vacation, right?"

"That I'll be sained, that's just coincidence."

"AND proper cousins."

Siv gives Dagmar a hug, she just can't help it

"Okay I'll try to curb that then until summer..just because" a look "Am I allowed to bring Bancroft along even if Iget kind of kissy kissy with him?"

"Who is bancroft?" Emmit asks Vali.//"A commoner sidhe works as a thane"Vali answers/"Mmmph" Emmit schools his features politely

"Far" She nods "We're supposed to be questing not riding the love boat" A sigh "Doesn't matter much, haven't seen Bancroft since Samhain"

"lot of that going around " Vali mutters then "Ah , Mountain, Care to come inside for a few more drinks? while the girls talk?"
