"Ordered, you mean."

"Fine, he was choking ,I was rushed . Right of rescue"

A glance to Dagmar, and then a sigh. "Is Dirk safe, now? I do not see him here." A nod to Symon, whom she overlooked at first (as one does with sluagh).

"Of course I'd help Dirk. I did help Dirk."

'He.." the sidhe looks around "He left. Without a word of thanks"

"Of course you would, Dagmar. I know this." Brekke nods, then looks to the sidhe. "Thank you for alerting her to the problem."

Tanya seems almost grateful for a bit of kindness "You're welcome, your ladyship."

He whispers (audible at least to Dagmar) “you think he’s okay? He’d probably not say anything if he was hurt.”

Her hands haven't relaxed a hair. "...Dunno."

"Hm." A nod, acknowledging the thanks. "However...I do expect members of my Lodge to be treated with courtesy. Dagmar is a valuable part of Rivervale. Please request her help in the future, rather than ordering it."

Brekke can see how the tree broke, something, or...someONE, tore a chunk out of it near one side of the base. It fell

"I tend to give courtesy when I am treated in kind, Baroness. It comes more easily to me then. Such as being called by what I prefer"

"Now...Dagmar, help me stand the tree up, please." She goes to the fallen trunk and levers it up.

"You're NOT HER!"

An angry look at Dagmar "Well i'm not 'not tanya' either"

Explosion... then obedience. She goes over to the tree.

"Understandable," Brekke nods to the sidhe as she works. "Can you think of an alternative that would satisfy both of you? Does...Tanya have a middle name?"

She's not the only one angry, the sidhe is popping a bit.

then a pause

She and Dagmar, with some effort, manage to get the upper part of the tree upright-ish, leaning against its stump. "Brace," Brekke directs Dagmar, giving the girl a bit more of the weight of the tree as she reaches to get a handful of dirt.

She begins marking runes around the trunk, signs of mending and healing and life.

Dagmar obeys, gritting her teeth - the tree is heavy, even for her.

She mutters in Norse as she works.

The sidhe tries to help if there is room, but is not strong enough to make much of a difference "Nadeen is her middle name. I don't think she liked it"

“I should have asked the horse.” He remarks, as he comes in a bit closer, watching the bunk with interest (though on the far side of the tree from Tanya.)

Glamour ripples around the tree as the Heather Balm works to mend the tree trunk...but it takes time.

"Amazing" Tanya/not tanya says not just at the display of strength, but the magic

Brekke watches the tree closely, still supporting it alongside Dagmar, but she adresses the sidhe, "It does not matter what she thought of the name. Would it be acceptable for your use?"

Dagmar is quiet, a deep line between her eyebrows - if her arms quiver now and then, she seems to just dig in her heels and keep holding on.

Brekke notes this, but doesn't suggest that Dagmar take a rest. She understands stubborn determination.

A thought then "Would Dagmar allow me to be called that then? Or wil lshe resent that too? THere's no point if it's just going to turn to 'not Nadeen'"

A look over her shoulder at the sidhe. "You suddenly removed a person from Dagmar's world. You will permit her the mourning that she needs, Good Lady." Then to Dagmar, "Can you accept that name for her?"

The sidhe looks tempted to say something but quiets.

Meanwhile, the heather balm seems to be working, rekniting the rings

"...Yeah. Never called her that."

Brekke nods. "Then it must be Tanya at school and at the Browns' residence, but Nadeen among us. Just as it is Sam and then Dagmar. Agreed?" This last to the sidhe.

"Yes. Nadeen is not ..great, but I'll have a better fae name once I am sained and remember myself better." She nods and seems to be touching the tree with concern "I think it's coming up straight"

"And I will...try to remember that I have no rank until I am sained and not...be so direct"

Clearly trying to be mature even though she is a teenage girl and wilder

A glower. "I'm not your servant."

"You see? " The varich says "Even when I acquiesce and try to amend, she still shoots hate at me. "

He doesn’t comment, but he’s there in silent solidarity.

A sigh...and a nod. "Yes. We must all speak on this, I think. Symon, that includes you. I cannot hope to resolve all, but there must be rules. First though....let us finish here. Let go slowly." She waits until both Nadeen and Dagmar have let go of the tree before she does, carefully in case the mending hasn't finished.

Nadeen lets go carefully, slowly she does seem to like trees

Dagmar steps back and shakes her arms out.

Brekke steps back last, making sure the tree can stand on its own.

Nadeen does wrinkle her nose as it looks lilke 'the sluagh' will be along

Symon lays a hand on the side of the tree, gazing into the bark, and his eyes start to glow a spooky green....

An eyebrow at the sluagh. "Symon...?"

“Just... looking...” he whispers, running his hands lightly over the bark.
