Hand in hand with Sylvi, Colton leads her out to dance. Olgar overhears his daughter, "Old people dancing? LIke your twerking tweeting generation knows what dancing is." he looks to Kerri, "Let's show em why they called you the demon of the dance club, honey."

"Cool," Zane says, "if you change your mind, let me know" He says with a smile

"Oh, my finest title." Kerri rolls her eyes, and lets Olgar swing her into the group of dancers occupying what is normally the practice ring.

"Okay..." She rubs the back of her neck. "..Sorry."

"Don't apologize," Zane calls out "If aint' fun what's the point?" And he hits it, "Behold my snoopy dance!"

Sylvi dances with Colton, and whispers, "Definitely different from Carnivale."

Marsha and the professor dance very well indeed, and seem to enfuse the music with a carefree energy, just a touch of it, soemthing that makes those repressing laughter want to ease up, helping diminish insecurities, and just letting folks enjoy.

Dag drifts closer to the ring, elbows resting on the fence as she watches. Her horned head bobs a little in time with the beat.

Colton grins and smiles, "Yeah, no disco ball " And he tries to pick her up and whirl her around just a bit.

Olgar grins as Kerri, his wife, does indeed show some sweet moves. To his credit, the blight faced troll may not have much of a face, but he has practice dancing himself, even if it is 'old'

Frank bows to Brekke as the number finishes and segues into another. They part.

Siv dances with kelly, and then Zane, and older boys...while not as pretty as Sylvi, Siv seems to be experimenting with some more adult steps. And yes, lads notice.

Sylvi yelps in surprise a bit as she's picked up and whirled, and laughs as he sets her back down. "I could try that with you, too, you know...." she teases.

"You could," Colton grins, "But you look better up there than I would."

Brekke smiles as the dance with Frank ends. It's an...unusually flirtatious smile for those who know her. But yes, they part, and she goes to lean on the practice ring railings and watch for a bit, getting a mead to drink while she does so.

Frank lingers just a moment there, then crosses to Dagmar.

Dag is watching the dancing, fingertips tapping the beat against the fence rail.

"May I have this dance?" Quietly.

...and Brekke keeps her eye on Siv...or rather, on Siv's partners.

"Oh!" Surprised. "I don't... I don't know how..."

Sylvi colors at the compliment from Colton.

As the first dance winds down, Sylvi says, "Um...if you want to dance with somebody else...?"

Frank shrugs. "It's not hard. If it was, I couldn't do it."

Torrad is doing the playing, but his skill shines through with the jigs, reels and dancing. Tove smiles at Jaymes, "We're not obligated to dance all night, King of May if you prefer..."//"Oh thank Odin" he says wiht relief, "That was a nightmare" /tove raises both brows "Was it?" //"I mean so much pressure, but tradition..."//"Huh" Tove says arms crossed now.

"I...I guess." She steps back from the rail. The music makes her usual qualms quieter, less threatening.

He offers his hand, leads her to the ring.... er.... floor... and holds her a proper distance, "Back, stop, side, stop, forward, stop, side, stop...." He leads her though a simple box step.

"Well, I ..." Colton starts to reply, and suddenly Kelly is there, "hi, Colton. Hello Sylvi, may I have this dance?"// Siv smiles, "Come on, Colton." It would appear they're being each stolen.

Kerri's dancing may first have a touch of sass...but as she and Olgar continue, they communicate the air of a couple who have danced together for many years, and who haven't come near to getting tired of doing so.

Indeed,one could argue it's Beltaine, but Olgar's eyes almost shine with his wife's reflection caught in them. The adoration is evident, and the fires are no where near out.

A blink of surprise from Sylvi. "Um...sure!" And she's being swept into a dance with Kelly.

She nods a little, and then echoes. "Back, stop, side, stop..." She spends more time looking at her feet than Frank, but she is smiling...

Frank smiles a little too, and continues counting/stepping under his breath.

Vali looks to the Chief, "Chieftain, if you'd like and you and your husband wouldn't mind?" he offers.

Dagmar does stomp on his feet once or twice, but then, finally, seems to settle into a rhythm. She laughs. "Oh, wait... I think..."

"Oh." Brekke's a bit surprised. "Vali, that is kind. But I hope you will forgive me if I decline. I generally dislike dancing. With one certain exception." A smile and a nod towards Frank.

"Don't." Frank advises. "It messes up your rhythm."

Sylvi asks Kelly, "Have you been enjoying Beltane?"

She snorts and grins.

"That's the best exception to have" Vali says and looks to the trods wistfully

Brekke follows his gaze, then looks back to him. "You should go. Join her there. Gerd is in bed for the night."

Kelly answers, "Dancing, flowers? When I should be talking up the sportsball and the racecars and the sword fights? it's all a bit lacking in the macho... I mean, I should be fighting a great white with a tooth pick or something." A grin though "I'll survive. You? "

Vali shakes his head , "Thanks, Chief. I'll make it up to her tomorrow. She's on duty anyway. New girl, got the short straw for the holiday. I'd just distract I think I'll go make sure the kids aren't raiding the fridge."

Sylvi rolls her eyes a bit. "I'm having fun. The race was good. Some years it's too easy, but Dad made it challenging this year." Then a teasing look. "Of course, you and Siv got more lost than some of us."

"You are a good man, Vali. Thank you." Brekke nods.

Kelly nods, "I prefer to think of it as strategically misplaced"

Vali smiles, "I had good role models as a yout." He says with the flash of jersey accent forced as it's been a looong time. He waves to all, and heads into supervise the lodge.

Sylvi laughs as they dance. "Uh-huh."

Colton seems to enjoy is dance, but keeps gettting distracted looking backat Sylvi while dancing with Siv, then looking embarrassed about it.

And one, and two, and three, and four... Dag is still pretty quiet as she dances, but her face alternates between focused concentration and flashes of a smile.

Sylvi says, "Wait...you said you're Firnostian. So...you live in Kansas City? or just hang out at Firnost a lot?"
