Golems come clanking into view

"Oh here we go" She curses

August grabs the coil and shoves it at Ruzgala. "Take the boggan and this, get it to the Duke. Use my name if it helps. Free Zara." he turns to square off against the Golem, blade drawn and ready.

She takes it "May I suggest you use your dictum on the golem? I've seen you fight, you're .. okay"

August nods, looks back at her, and spends a point of Glamour while saluting her with his sword as a bunk "Do As I Have Ordered You."
OOC Dictum to Ruzgala, then he'll turn to the Golems.

OOC: Wait. Did he dictum The Eshu or the golem?

OOC: And her suggestion WAS for the golem. He CAN use it on her instead,, but I want to be clear

OOC Dictum "Do As I Have Ordered You." to Ruzgala, then he'll turn to the Golems and try to Dictum them. What Realm do they count as?

OOC: Fae, as they maybe machines but they're chimerical mahines

BIC: Ruzgala looks betrayed as she's dictumed! and her eyes darken , she mutters something in Turkish, then adds "You burn bridges you can't afford to, LORD BARON. I'll remember this" She does take the boggan and coil and makes her way out with him hastily.

August would burn every bridge but one to free Zara...... he turns to the Golems.

OOC Well, I mean, it's August; I wasn't expecting much.....

(Ironicaly, as the golem failed, August goes first)

He poses dramatically, blade pointed at them, and says "Avant thou! Begone to your creator and trouble me no further! Avast!" in a completely anachronistic accent somewhere between Middle English and Middle Earth.

(Dictum with the pose, point, and accent as a bunk)

THe creature turns "Overide of core mission successful, Devotion to creator not found." it turns and tromps that way

Leading Auggust to whoever that masster is IF he wishes to follow

He does, but he -tries- to stay concealed/stealthy.

So far, so good. The golem/automaton's shadow seems to be ideal for making sure a clear path is ahead of them.

And so August follows, hoping Ruzgala has made it back to the Duke with the evidence he wanted.

All she has to do is bypass any golems in that area, or traps. And hope to convince the guards and thanes at the gate with the evidence of confused witness and coil. But if she didn't wnat a challenge she shouldn't have become an Eshu ( 😉 )

The golem leads him to where the glamour is going!

And like snow white affter the apple, he sees on a dias, a lovely sidhe.

She lays there, the glamour pulsing through her. SHe's like a sponge, drinking it in

And there... there is a Nocker woman with a look of absolute worship in her eyes.

August kenss both figures, and the room/environment/surroundings.

The nocker is kithain, lots of devices of magic on her

But the sidhe? yes, the glamour flowing in seems to be like water going down a grassy sink hole. Yes, it keeps life going, but itt's also draining out

The nocker turns "FURK!" She says as the Golem comes up to her, and she gets a glimpse of August

August lifts his chin and strides forward, blade drawn and ready. "In the name of Duke Brunswick, I, Baron August Truthbranch of House Liam command you to surrender yourself and all your creatures and devices." (formal intro=bunk for Dictum)

As he does that, a medallion around the she nocker's neck glows in response.

(But roll your charisma plus Fae)

OOC What would be fair for his Charisma pool? I figure Fae=2, but...? He's got that Liam thing....

OOC: Charisma for Cantrips isn't affected by the Liam thing. 🙂 So if you think he has a Charisma 3 use that, or 4 usee that etc
