She nods and says "Hello in there. My name is Ruzgala, and I am very sorry someone has done this to you. You are likely confused, scared, and perhaps angry... you've a right to be. You danced your way to your true self only to find your dance interrupted. You are full of questions... they'll be answered. You've been kidnapped, but if you hold fast a friend and I will do our best ot make sure you don't stay in there long."

"Get me out of here!" A voice yells, muffled.

"We're with you" She assures.

She looks at August "I may not be as much as a comfort as I hoped"

"You've done the best you can." he assures her "In the circumstances."

They shoot along the path, past automatons that obey their orders and leave the carriage alone.

it gets dark at parts, lights going dim, making it harder to be sure where they are turning.

"We may have trouble finding our way out...." August mutters over the sound of their passage.

"Indeed. I am an Eshu, I'll find a way, but it's always the most... interesting path, and I worry 'interesting' isn't good for the newly dreamed"

OOC ((sigh)) That's August. He's looking super intently for evidence....

August doesn't see the chimera leap onto him, like the owl before (Where DID that Owl go anyway?) it appears distorted and twisted by the lack of it's creator and companion. This one is felilne, he can tell that by the noise.

And it tears at him

Unfortunately, while cats are nimble, attacking someone on a racing chariot is difficult for anyone...

and the cat loses purchase and tumbles off behind them!

August unharmed but having a nasty surprise. He does need to stay on the carriage top

August holds on tight. Ruzgala looks at him, "Your luck is all over the place, Baron. Perhaps you're part Eshu?"

He offers her a tight smile.

To be fair, had he been knocked down, even if not killed, it would have been a LONG walk though the tunnels. But fortune is on his side if whimsically so, and they finally see light as their carriage transports them

Into view comes a parody of faith.... Rows and rows of crucifixs... oh, not of wood, rather steampunk looking pillars of copper, wires, and iron. Strapped in this field are the missing dream dancers, some still lush with excess glamour. They are wearing helmets that look more like buckets than proper protective gear, and the shackles on their wrists and ankles ARE padded at least.

OOC Just so it's said, August is trying to be as inconspicuous and invisible as possible up there.

And one does not need a strong kenning to see the glamour being leeched from them.. pulsing further on.

Iron... not.... they couldn't be......

Thank fully, the iron appears to be wrought and diluted, not true cold iron at all, but perhaps used to 'force' the glamour to stay down it's path to... whatever.

While August is hiding, the carriage stops abruptly in front of an empty Cross, and the door flings open. There's a yelp from inside the carriage, and the kithain within, turns out to be a boggan, is carried out... clearly about to be strapped onto the cross!

Carried out whom?

(The Chryilad that was in the carriage is now being taken out of the carriage and put on one of the cross shaped devices BY the carriage tentacles)

August examines the carriage at close range; if nocker made, there must be a weakness....?

As the tendrils start to carry the boggan chryilad out to a NEW prison so to speak, August , well, he's been in a dougal hold, and as it extends fully, he sees a brief moment where clasps at the base rise up to view. He might be able to damage or even losen them if he moves quickly enough

He is not an impulsive man, but given the situation... he moves quickly! He strikes with his blade.

His blade is magical, perhaps one blow wouldn't do it, but the burst of speed means it is THREE blows.

And a coil snaps loose, dropping the boggan to the ground before he can be fully transfered

The carriage begins to sound an alarm!

"Well, that's the ball game for now I think?" August leaps down to where the boggan lays, sword drawn, and grabs for the loose coil; evidence?

And, for that matter, an eyewitness.....

Well, the dozens of kidnapped Chrysalids on display are likely eye witnesses, but it is possible they know something about material evidence

Ruzgala says "I do dare say. Whoever is behind this is pr obably going to send every golem or device they have against us."
