Nadeen , arm in arm with him, leans against Aiden's shoulder, then ..kisses his cheek, "Yes. I am too weak now. You deserve me when I am stronger"

Anne Marie takes it "Oh thank you. I.. I'm Ann Marie, destroyer of worlds. " Wry

"You are strong." She feels his arm tremble, and he closes his eyes for a moment, before reassuming his composure.

Brekke notes that while all her people are scattered, they all seem to be with company that suits them. She relaxes and stands with Frank. "We should head back to Rivervale.

And Symon will hang out with Dagmar until she wants to return to the others. Telling her of his trip, and failure, and ultimate success. Until they are tagged to return home.

"You're welcome to rest at Darkgate if you prefer" Storm Colton offers Brekke and Frank

Sylvi is there with Colton.

Brekke shakes her head. "I wish to return. My balefire calls me." She looks about the group. "Some may wish to return with us, some later." But the effort of herding Rivervalers seems a bit much for her at the moment.

Indeed, Colton seems almost afixed to her, as if yes, he will do his duty, but duty is going to have to share a little

Dagmar does listen to Symon's story, making appropriate murmurs in response.

"Well, Darkgate is open to them as well if need be" Colton says and turns to Sylvi "And you?"

"I'll talk to them," Sylvi assures Brekke. She squeezes Colton's arm briefly, then heads off to where AnneMarie is.

Briar picks up the discarded medallion, and considers it. Much the way Gwen has seen her consider things in the past, like her pencils, serving spoons, car bumpers...

Nadeen holds onto Aiden's arm and seems to use him for strength despite his praise that she is strong for a time that's almost scandalous, before reluctantly parting "I have a count's pennons to return."

Sylvi reaches AnneMarie. "The Chieftain's going to be heading back to Rivervale soon. She wants people to have the option of returning with her or staying longer, as they like. DarkGate can host, if you want to stay," she assures.

"I would ask you to give the Count my regards, but I doubt he would appreciate it." A small smile to Nadeen, and reluctance as he lifts his hand from hers.

"The threat is over. They know where home is." Frank says to Brekke "Let's go there now; they'll return when they are ready."

Anne Marie says "oh goodness, lolly gag? Here? Or at Dark gate either no no.." She says "My family has been disrupted enough. Why Bruce will start back on eating Ramens and acting like a bachelor intern again if I am not careful. And the Chief will need my help on the mortal side of things. I'll be heading back to Rivervale tonight" A nod

"Okay. I'm glad you and everybody is safer now," Sylvi adds before heading off to where Nadeen is standing with Aiden. "I'm sorry to interrupt," she's a bit more deferential to them both. "But the Chieftain is heading back to Rivervale soon, and she's wondering who wants to travel with her."

"The Count can be a bit blind, forgive me for saying so. But he'll gloatt over his pennons robbing TWO enemies in one night as if he'd wielded the staff himself. I will pass on your wishes in a manner he can accept graciously. Be well, Baron Aiden. You were masterful tonight" And she ..reluctantly parts

Nadeen blushes as Sylvi overhears. Thank god she's not a boggan

Brekke looks to Frank. "At least let us wait until they know we depart." She is tired, clearly.

If Sylvi overheard anything, she doesn't let slip, at least not right now.

"I'll be heading to the Count's to return pennons" Nadeen assures Sylvi

"Okay," Sylvi says. "Come with me as I fetch Dagmar and Symon?"

Gwen plucks the medallion from Briar's hand "What did we tell you abou eating strang magicks? Haven't you heard about the witch who broke the warlock's staff and got cursed by the Dreaming?"

Nadeen nods, and goes with Sylvi

"Baroness Shacklebreaker, thank you allowing me to host a most satisfying duel. Shall you have needs in the area of horse or hound, or.. wish another duel, please do not hesitate to reach out. Though I do hope that there are not circumstances to warrant such again."

Pleasantries are exchanged, and in a roundabout way, it is clear that would she wish to return on other terms, it may not be unwelcome.

"Awwww!" Briar whines. "It belonged to the redcap, so I should get to eat it. What about her?" Nudging the unconscious Kandi Chompwhomp again. "Oh! Can we keep her??"

Brekke nods. "Baron Aiden, it is much appreciated. We will speak further," she assures him.

"Uhm.. I guess we could drag her in for hospitality but better ask the baron. Boy she sure swore to the wrong guy"

Sylvi and Nadeen approach Dagmar and Symon. "Hey," Sylvi ventures, noting the stormy looking Gwydion.

"I say, if you're gonna swear, make it good. FUCK! DAMN! BI-" She gets out a few before Gwen clamps down.

"Time to go?"

Frank wraps an arm around Brekke's shoulders in comfort and support.

"Well, the Chieftain and Mountain are heading back, and Anne Marie and Nadeen are heading with them," she nods to Nadeen at her side. "DarkGate is still offering hospitality, though, if you want to stay another day?"

Grunt.

"Nadeen.. can I.. with everything, can I tell?"

Sylvi blinks. "Tell?"

Nadeen realizes "oh.. I'm so sorry Dagmar" A hug "Yes.. I ... it's as over as it's going to be. You.. thank you for holding it in"

Sylvi looks between the two of them. "What's going on?"

Dagmar nods. "I wanna go now."

The thanes from Silverwolf have released the veils, and are cleaning up the blood from the baseball diamond, lest any mortals take offense.

Symon looks to Nadeen, and gives her a nod of respect. "We did good. ... thanks."

"O-kay..." Sylvi says carefully, certain that there's a lot more to know here. "Let's go."

Nadeen glances at Symon "We did. You were crucial. Thank you" Then she looks at Sylvi "My parents were two of the ten mortals. The Browns are dead."

Dagmar wraps her arms around her torso, looking away.
